"Round and chubby, what flavor is this candy?"
An Yuan'er thought, who could beat her at distinguishing candy flavors? Yi Chenli was questioning her professional competence.
She chewed slowly, her mouth filled with the rich aroma of red beans.
“It’s red bean,” An Yuan’er said confidently.
Yi Chenli said meaningfully, "Yes, you guessed right. It's red bean."
Red beans are the epitome of longing.
No need for further words; silence speaks louder than words.
An Yuan'er suddenly remembered that Yi Chenli had also used a candy every day to pique her interest back then.
This cunning man had been manipulating her since so early on, and she was still foolishly walking right into it.
The two of them had just gone around in circles. An Yuan'er didn't dare to look into Yi Chenli's affectionate eyes. When she saw the front door of her house, she ran over anxiously and said, "I...I'm tired. I'm going home."
Halfway through the run, she frowned in frustration and turned back.
She took off her cloak: "You still have a long way to go back, put this on so you don't catch a cold."
This time, it won't be so easy to escape. Yi Chenli grabbed An Yuan'er's hand, raised an eyebrow, and his eyes were full of laughter: "My chubby little one, you still care about me after all."
An Yuan'er struggled, but her hand was held so firmly that she couldn't let go.
She refused to admit it: "What do you mean 'yours' and 'mine'? I'm not concerned. I'm just returning the cloak to its rightful owner."
"Really? It's round and chubby, I just don't believe it."
The boy was very demanding, and An Yuan'er couldn't handle it.
She bit Yi Chenli's hand, and Yi Chenli loosened his grip slightly in pain. An Yuan'er lifted her skirt and ran away quickly, slamming the door shut with a "bang".
Yi Chenli looked at the teeth marks on his hand. That girl was really ruthless; the teeth marks were quite deep.
Yi Chenli gently stroked the teeth marks, his eyes filled with tenderness.
A rabbit will bite when cornered, but can a rabbit that has already been targeted by a lone wolf really escape?
*
An Yuan'er thought she was really crazy, not sleeping in the middle of the night, but going for a walk with Yi Chenli.
She swore she would only do something so foolish once, and never a second time.
When An Yuan'er got home, it was just before dawn, and she finally crawled into bed to catch up on sleep. She slept very restlessly, dreaming of grand scenes: either the lone wolf finally devoured the fat rabbit, or the fat rabbit willingly sacrificed itself to the lone wolf.
Regardless of the outcome, the fat rabbit could not escape the lone wolf's jaws.
An Yuan'er woke up from a nightmare, and she vaguely thought, "Couldn't we just let the fat rabbit eat and drink happily? Why did we have to provoke the wolf?"
Life is so hard.
I was in a daze all day, and somehow it was evening again.
Having nightmares during the day and unable to sleep at night, An Yuan'er felt like she was being driven crazy.
She thought to herself: Is Yi Chenli waiting for me again?
She comforted herself, "No, it won't happen." How could he have guessed she had insomnia? If she didn't go out, he wouldn't have spent the whole night waiting in vain.
With a touch of curiosity and a bit of impulsiveness, An Yuan'er pushed open her front door again on the second night.
She regretted it as soon as she pushed open a corner.
Through the crack in the door, she saw Yi Chenli waiting at the door, smiling broadly.
Yi Chenli doesn't usually smile that much; this doesn't fit his character. An Yuan'er thought, "It must be a dream. I need to wake up quickly."
But Yi Chenli had already pushed the wheelchair to her side: "Yuan Gun Gun can't sleep, shall we take a walk together?"
An Yuan'er had sworn during the day that she would only do the silly thing of walking on the street in the middle of the night once, like yesterday.
"Yi Chenli, what would you do if I hadn't come out?"
