Chapter Forty-Two: Not Strong

"An Yuan'er will one day realize how disgusting you are, and then she will leave you."

"......"

The veins on Yi Chenli's hands bulged. The softest spot in his heart was his mother. His mother was the kindest woman in the world; how could she possibly do evil?

His pale hands kept turning the wheelchair, slowly moving it towards Yi Chenqi.

The wheelchair rushed in front of Yi Chenqi, and he grabbed Yi Chenqi's clothes and pulled him towards himself. The two instantly began to fight.

Neither of them wanted to admit defeat.

You punch me, I punch you, and the two of them started fighting.

His face was covered in bruises.

"Ah! Stop hitting me!"

"Blood."

"Quickly pull them apart."

The scene became somewhat chaotic.

Yi Chenqi didn't know where Yi Chenli got his strength from; his punches were unusually powerful, and his face was in great pain from the blows.

In his desperation, Yi Chenqi kicked Yi Chenli repeatedly, with all his might.

"I'll show you the difference between you and me. You cripple! Beg for mercy from this prince now."

"Your mother is a vile woman!"

Yi Chenqi unleashed all his worst traits.

Yi Chenli felt no pain; his eyes were completely black as he grabbed Yi Chenqi's arm and bit down hard.

He bit down hard this time, almost tearing a chunk of Yi Chenqi's flesh off.

Yi Chenqi was spoiled and still a child; he couldn't hold back the pain and cried out, "Ah! Ah! Ah!"

Even with several people together, they couldn't stop Yi Chenli.

The situation is out of control. If something really happens to the Fifth Prince, how are they going to explain it to the Empress?

Amid the chaos, a series of hurried footsteps could be heard.

An Yuan'er, who was late today because of something, rushed over as fast as she could after she found out.

She was panting heavily from running so fast.

An Yuan'er saw that Yi Chenli's mouth was covered in blood, but he refused to let go. If he bit down any further, Yi Chenqi's hand would be badly damaged.

The look in An Yuan'er's eyes when she looked at Yi Chenli was filled with pain, despair, and a kind of madness that wanted to die together with him.

Although he was disabled, An Yuan'er knew that he had never thought of taking his own life. He would never have done so if he hadn't been pushed to the limit today.

No one dared to touch the two entangled individuals, partly for fear of being caught in the crossfire, and partly for fear of accidentally hurting someone and having a hard time explaining themselves.

An Yuan'er rushed in without thinking, not even afraid of getting hurt.

"Yi Chenli, give in."

Yi Chenli closed his eyes in pain, but did not give in.

An Yuan'er couldn't help but cry. His physical disability had already made his life difficult enough, but why did they have to push him to this point?

Is it really that fun to laugh at someone's disability?

He appears calm and aloof, but who has ever cared about the forbearance and helplessness behind it?

An Yuan'er hugged Yi Chenli from behind, gently patting his back: "Yi Chenli, let go. I know you don't like it here, I'll take you home. I'll take you home."

Yi Chenli opened his eyes and slowly relented.

His voice was hoarse as he whispered in An Yuan'er's ear, "Round and round, can I not be strong? Just for a little while, just for a little while."

He leaned on An Yuan'er's shoulder and buried his head in it.

A dampness settled on my shoulder.

It turns out that even crying was a luxury for him.

Everyone was gathered around Yi Chenqi, asking if his hand was alright; no one noticed what was happening here.

When Yi Chenli looked up, he reverted to his indifferent demeanor, putting on a facade.

Children who have no one to care for them always get hurt, but then they stubbornly recover, silently...
