Chapter 335 The book was held upside down

After the Crown Prince arrived at the General's Mansion, he first told Lady Tongjia about the lifting of the Imperial Noble Consort's confinement.

Then he said he wanted to go see Hexue so that she wouldn't worry and told her about it in person.

Lady Tongjia had no reason to refuse the Crown Prince. She also hoped to have more contact with Xue and the Crown Prince, which was better than an arranged marriage.

When the Crown Prince arrived at the General's Mansion, He Xue received the news. He Xue had not yet figured out how to explain Mr. Shu's matter, so she hid in the courtyard and did not go to see the Crown Prince.

"Princess, are you really not going to see His Highness the Crown Prince?" Xia Bing asked.

"No! That's not polite!" He Xue said, making up an excuse.

"Princess, didn't you say those were all rules and regulations? Shackles that bind people?" Xia Bing asked, puzzled.

He Xue was speechless for a moment after being asked by Xia Bing.

Qingdai couldn't help but laugh out loud. She turned her head and saw that the Crown Prince was already standing outside the door. She was about to speak when the Crown Prince stopped her.

"Princess, why do I feel that you seem a little guilty?" Qingdai asked deliberately.

"I'm not guilty at all! Why would I be guilty?" He Xue said stubbornly.

"Princess, I remember you questioned the Ninth Prince from head to toe!"

Mentioning the Ninth Prince, He Xue was filled with anger. "It's all because of that big mouth of Ninth Prince! Why does he have to tell everyone everything!"

"I wonder what the Crown Prince's reaction will be when he finds out?" He Xue is more worried about what the Crown Prince will say when he finds out!

“Princess, you weren’t like this before!” Xia Bing remembered that He Xue never cared about anyone’s opinion.

"You don't understand! Because I care, I care! I think I'm the most perfect in the eyes of the Crown Prince!" He Xue felt that this matter was something that two single people couldn't explain to each other.

“Princess, we servants don’t understand. Why don’t you explain it to His Highness the Crown Prince yourself?” Qingdai said and opened the door.

As soon as Xue looked up, she saw the Crown Prince walk in.

Qingdai and Xia Bing immediately went outside.

He Xue had no idea how much of what she had just said had been heard by the Crown Prince, and she was inwardly blaming Qing Dai for not reminding her.

The Crown Prince looked at He Xue with a smile on his face.

He Xue lowered her head somewhat embarrassedly, but then she thought that she hadn't said anything shameful, and that lowering her head might make her feel guilty, so she raised her head again to look at the Crown Prince.

"He Xue, what are you doing?" the Crown Prince asked, suppressing a laugh.

"Let's read a book!" Xue said, picking up a book at random.

"Really? Is it good?" the prince asked, looking at the book in He Xue's hand.

"It looks beautiful!" He Xue nodded and said.

The prince walked up to He Xue and said, "You're so amazing now! You can still understand the book even when it's upside down!"

He Xue looked down and saw that she was indeed holding the book upside down. Her face immediately turned red, and she wished she could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

Do you have anything to say to me?

"What brings you to the General's Mansion today, Crown Prince?" He Xue asked, her expression slightly embarrassed.

"Is He Xue complaining that I haven't visited the General's Mansion enough? Does He Xue miss her Crown Prince brother?"

"I didn't!" Xue said in a voice barely above a whisper.

"Does He Xue not miss me? I think about you every day! Does He Xue despise me?" the Crown Prince said, hurt.

“No! I miss my Crown Prince too! I miss him every day!” He Xue said immediately.

"Little girl, don't think you can get away with this!" The Crown Prince could tell what He Xue was thinking just by looking at her expression.

He Xue looked at the Crown Prince dejectedly. Really, how could her Crown Prince brother know what she was thinking!

The Crown Prince had just overheard He Xue's thoughts. He Xue wanted to say a few kind words to persuade him not to pursue the matter of the storyteller, but he was not so easily fooled.

"I've come to tell you that Mother Tong is alright!"

"Really? That's great! Who's behind Ruguo's orders?"

The Crown Prince recounted the entire incident to He Xue in detail.

He Xue never expected that this matter would involve Consort Wuya.

"He Xue, stay away from the Ninth Princess from now on, and take Qingdai with you wherever you go!" the Crown Prince said, still worried.

"I understand!" He Xue replied, then looked at the Crown Prince, her expression suddenly changing. "Brother Crown Prince, what did you mean by what you just said?"
