"I roughly know, they mean they're going to Mount Wutai to worship Buddha!" the prince said.
"Aren't you curious?" He Xue didn't understand why the Crown Prince could be so calm.
“I’ve come here with my father before, but I never actually see anyone. And after a while, I got used to it!” He was quite shocked when he first heard that he was going to see his deceased grandfather, but he got used to it after coming here so many times.
However, he felt that Xue didn't seem shocked at all; rather, she seemed to be watching the show with a hint of amusement.
"He Xue, what are you thinking about?" the Crown Prince asked.
"No!" He Xue quickly denied.
"Really?" The Crown Prince saw the evasive look in He Xue's eyes and knew that He Xue was hiding something from him.
"I swear, it's more real than pearls!" He Xue said, holding up three fingers.
The Crown Prince looked at He Xue with an expression that said, "I don't believe it."
Seeing this, He Xue could only say, "I'm thinking of you! I'm thinking of you every single moment!"
The Crown Prince blushed upon hearing He Xue's words!
"Is the Crown Prince really that innocent?" He Xue looked at the Crown Prince in surprise. Was this the same Crown Prince who had just flirted with her?
The Crown Prince was surprised that he blushed and was being described this way by He Xue.
"Brother Crown Prince, I think I've been poisoned?" He Xue said to the Crown Prince.
"How could you be poisoned? What kind of poison?" the prince asked in a panic.
"I feel so lonely without you!" He Xue said, suppressing a laugh.
"Huh?" The Crown Prince looked at He Xue in confusion. Wasn't she said to be poisoned?
"Brother Crown Prince, I've been feeling a bit tight in my chest lately!"
"What's wrong?" The Crown Prince was happy to play along with He Xue, mainly because he was pleased to hear her sweet words.
"It's probably because you're stuck in my heart!"
"I want you to know something!"
"What's up?"
"It's the first four characters of the previous sentence!"
The prince thought about the first four words of the previous sentence, "I want you," and then told He Xue with a serious expression, "We are not married yet, it's not possible!"
Looking at the Crown Prince's righteous and eloquent manner, He Xue suddenly felt that she was flirting with him!

"Why?" He Xue asked casually.
"Because you're all I can think about!" the prince said affectionately.
He Xue was surprised that the Crown Prince could actually learn and use cheesy pickup lines so quickly.
[I wanted to flirt with the Crown Prince, but I ended up being flirted with by him instead!] Xue complained.
Hearing He Xue's thoughts, the Crown Prince smiled and said, "Hold on tight, we need to speed up!" With that, the Crown Prince gave the horse a hard jolt, and the horse, in pain, galloped off at full speed.
As He Xue had been eagerly anticipating their arrival, He Xue and her group finally reached Qingliang Temple on Mount Wutai.
He Xue and the Crown Prince followed behind Emperor Kangxi and the Imperial Noble Consort. He Xue looked around Qingliang Temple. It was really quiet. No wonder it was called Qingliang Temple! She wondered if Qingliang Temple was closed off because of a lack of worshippers or because Emperor Shunzhi had become a monk here and thus isolated the place.
Emperor Kangxi instructed Liang Jiugong to knock on the temple door.
Liang Jiugong stepped forward and knocked on the temple door. Soon, a young monk opened the door, but not fully. The young monk poked his round head out and asked curiously, "Benefactor, is there something you need?"
“Young master, my master has come to your temple to visit an old friend!” Liang Jiugong said.
The young monk glanced behind Liang Jiugong and said, "Wait a moment!" before closing the temple door again.
"Your Majesty, what do you think?" Liang Jiugong asked as he returned to Kangxi's side.
"It's alright, let's wait!" Kangxi said. He had never seen the young monk who opened the door before; he must be new. Otherwise, he would have let them in long ago.
Emperor Kangxi was unsure if he would be able to see the person this time. He had been turned away every time he came before, so he didn't have much hope this time either.
