The Crown Prince returned to Yuqing Palace as quickly as possible. He first washed and cleaned himself to make sure there was nothing unusual before returning to his room.
He Xue was still asleep, and the Crown Prince knew that He Xue was really exhausted tonight.
The prince tiptoed onto the bed and held He Xue in his arms.

When He Xue opened her eyes, she saw the Crown Prince reading a book beside her.

The Crown Prince's eyes held amusement. "Is He Xue blaming me?"
"Hmph!" He Xue pouted and turned her head away, no longer looking at the Crown Prince.
The Crown Prince immediately coaxed He Xue gently, "I'll be gentler tonight! Okay?"
He Xue looked at the Crown Prince speechlessly. Why was the Crown Prince so preoccupied with such things? Couldn't he think about serious matters?
He Xue decided to change the subject and not discuss this anymore. "Brother Crown Prince, what book were you reading just now?"
The Crown Prince smiled enigmatically. "I found it in the corner of the bed. I don't know who put it there." He kept looking at He Xue as he said this.
