The Crown Prince led Kangxi into the room. "Father, the estate is rather simple; I'm afraid you'll have to make do!"

"Yes, Father Emperor, please rest. Your son will take his leave!"
Emperor Kangxi waved his hand at the Crown Prince.
When the prince came out of his room, he saw that He Xue was already waiting for him not far away!
The prince quickly approached He Xue. "Why are you waiting here?"
"I was worried, so I came to check on you!" He Xue said nervously.
"It's alright!" The Crown Prince took He Xue's hand and walked forward.
“Brother Crown Prince, when Father Emperor came, he took control of everyone in the manor, including He Zhu! That’s why no one informed him!” He Xue said to the Crown Prince.
The crown prince simply smiled and didn't say anything.
Emperor Kangxi left satisfied after enjoying a full fish feast.
He had originally intended for the Crown Prince to return with him, but then he said to Xue, "Your words are law; how can they be changed so easily!"
Since he had already broken his promise once, Emperor Kangxi had no choice but to allow the crown prince to remain in power.
In the early morning, the concubines of the inner palace all came to Chengqian Palace to pay their respects.
