343 Hao Huaping injured
"Having a nightmare?"
Jiang Baohai tucked in the quilt for his wife, pulled a chair to the bedside, sat at the head of the bed and looked at her and asked.
Gao Qinghe nodded, thinking of the annoyance and anger he had just felt at being urged, and took a deep breath before letting it go.
But judging by the reaction of the man next to her, he probably didn't hear what she yelled.
Sure enough, Jiang Baohai asked curiously, "What did you dream about? I just heard you yelling, 'Get lost!'"
"I dreamed of a ghost. I told the ghost to go away." Gao Qinghe said, and he couldn't help laughing at what he made up.
Jiang Baohai didn't suspect anything, after all, dreaming about ghosts was normal.
Seeing her smile, I finally let out the breath that had been held in my heart.
"Would you like something to eat?" Jiang Baohai asked with concern.
Eat something to fill your stomach before taking medicine.
Gao Qinghe glanced at the pills wrapped in white paper on the bedside table. From the marks on the pills, he knew they were difficult to swallow.
She closed her eyes in resistance and said, "Wait a moment, after the IV drip, we'll go out and eat."
"Can you walk?" Jiang Baohai asked with a frown.
Gao Qinghe: "Just sweat it out and you'll be fine. After the IV drip, you can go home."
Jiang Baohai subconsciously wanted to say no, but Gao Qinghe opened his eyes, blinked pitifully, and said in a coquettish voice:
"I want to sleep in my own bed at night."
Jiang Baohai's raised eyebrows drooped unconsciously, and he thought to himself, who can withstand this!
"Let's finish the fight first. Do you want some water?"
This was almost equivalent to agreement. Gao Qinghe smiled and said, "Yeah."
Jiang Baohai sighed helplessly, got up and went to get her some hot water, but kept pouring it over the two cups until it got cold.
"I can't move my hands," she said.
Looking at him expectantly.
Jiang Baohai gritted his teeth secretly and suppressed the sudden anger that had risen in his heart.
He held her up with one hand and held the cup with the other to feed her water.
Gao Qinghe drank slowly in small sips, and touched the side of his face with satisfaction, "Thank you, husband~"
Wet, soft and fragrant.
Jiang Baohai couldn't stand it any longer, and whispered the famous saying of the boss in her ear:
"Woman, you are playing with fire!"
Gao Qinghe raised his eyebrows. So what? What else could he do?
Jiang Baohai bit those pink lips lightly as a warning, "Wait until you're well, and see what I'll do to you!"
He put her down, stood up and went to stand by the window to enjoy the cool wind.
"Husband~"
Yell, yell, yell, what are you yelling about!
"Old Jiang."
Oh, now he has become Lao Jiang. He doesn’t even call me husband?
"Jiang Baohai!"
He actually called me by my full name. Something was wrong. Jiang Baohai turned around and saw Gao Qinghe pointing at the IV drip that had run out of medicine, saying unhappily:
"What are you standing there for? Call the nurse!"
She looked down and saw that the blood started to flow back.
"Fuck!" Jiang Baohai rushed out of the ward.
After the last bottle of medicine was injected, the nurse pulled out the needle, gave a few instructions, and left.
Gao Qinghe's stomach was rumbling, so Jiang Baohai put her coat on and took her outside to find something delicious.
After the couple had eaten and drunk their fill, Gao Qinghe planned to go home directly, but Jiang Baohai disagreed. He took her back to the ward first, asked the doctor about the situation, and after confirming that the problem was not serious, he forced her to take the medicine before preparing to go back.
Gao Qinghe didn't know where Jiang Baohai got the scarf from, but it covered her entire head, leaving only a pair of big watery eyes exposed.
"What are you doing?" Gao Qinghe covered his mouth and his voice sounded muffled.
Jiang Baohai said coldly, "Block the wind. It's getting cold outside today."
Gao Qinghe's mouth twitched. How could she feel any breeze while sitting in the car?
However, since the man was so proactive and caring, Gao Qinghe didn't want to spoil the fun at all and cooperated obediently.
"Thank you for your concern, husband."
This little mouth looks like it's been smeared with honey. I'll kiss it until it's swollen when I get home. Jiang Baohai thought viciously in his heart.
I've only been here for the whole morning and there's nothing to pack.
And he had to come for an IV drip tomorrow, so Jiang Baohai took the medicine.
The couple left the ward hand in hand and prepared to go home.
When I walked to the lobby on the first floor, I suddenly saw a man rushing in holding a woman with blood all over her face, shouting for a doctor to come quickly.
The couple couldn't help but look at him twice more. Why does he look so familiar?
Gao Qinghe pulled her husband's finger and asked, "Am I seeing correctly? Zhou Zhenghua is carrying Hao Huaping to the hospital?"
Jiang Baohai nodded seriously, "You're not mistaken, it's them."
Looking down, he found that the curiosity in her eyes was about to overflow. Jiang Baohai said nothing, and silently took his wife's hand and walked towards the emergency room.
Hao Huaping was injured in the head, and blood kept falling from her hair, leaving two horrifying lines of blood on her face.
The blood dripped down his chin onto his clothes, quickly soaking them into a pool, making it look like his entire body was bleeding.
When Zhou Zhenghua saw this scene, he was completely panicked, but he had to pretend to be calm when facing the doctor's questions.
"How did she do that?"
The doctor asked the patient's family while searching for the wound on Hao Huaping's head.
He didn't feel the wound, but he did find a few broken porcelain pieces.
Zhou Zhenghua said: "It was accidentally hit by a vase, a ceramic vase."
The doctor had found the bleeding point and picked up a pair of scissors to cut off the offending circle of hair. But that didn't work, so he took out a razor and shaved off all the hair in that area.
The wound was completely exposed, which made people's scalp numb.
The doctor expressed his sympathy with a few clicks of his tongue, quickly cleaned the wound, applied anesthetic, and sutured it.
Seeing Hao Huaping's pale face and dizzy appearance, Zhou Zhenghua asked nervously:
"Doctor, how is it? Is the injury serious?"
The doctor said, "It looks fine at the moment, but we'll have to take an X-ray to check for a concussion."
"How could you be so careless? If it had hit the temple a little more, it would have been fatal!"
Zhou Zhenghua sneered, shook his head at the doctor, and didn't want to mention it again.
The doctor guessed that it was most likely a family conflict.
But judging from the appearance of the young man in front of me, it shouldn't be him who did it.
So who did it?
Zhou Zhenghua thought to himself, I have to ask the injured person’s father how could he be so cruel to his own daughter.
After the wound was bandaged, the doctor wrote out a list of photos, and Zhou Zhenghua helped Hao Huaping to prepare for the photo shoot.
Gao Qinghe and his wife, who were standing at the door and peeking, quickly moved away and blended in with the doctors and patients.
The two people who went to take the photo did not notice the couple's existence.
The photos had to be queued up. Zhou Zhenghua helped Hao Huaping sit on a chair while they waited, and said guiltily:
"If I hadn't made my uncle unhappy, you wouldn't have been hurt."
Hao Huaping smiled at him firmly, "It has nothing to do with you. It's my fault. I overestimated my father's snobbery. It's also my fault for being so optimistic that I didn't tell him your true situation. He hates being deceived the most, which is why he was so furious."
"It's just that I didn't expect... that he actually wanted to beat me to death."
Zhou Zhenghua patted her soothingly, "How could that be? You're overthinking it. Uncle was just angry at the moment, and maybe he regretted it after calming down."
Hao Huaping wanted to shake her head, then she remembered that she was very dizzy and said dejectedly:
"If only I hadn't attended the Gao family's wedding. I didn't expect that Principal Gao was actually Gao Qinghe's uncle. If it weren't for her..."
At this point, the nurse called their turn.
Hao Huaping could only swallow her complaints against Gao Qinghe, the "culprit", and followed the nurse in to cooperate with the examination.
