Chapter 134: Hidden Accident

When Mu Shicang left Hanhai Building, he made a phone call: "Send two people to follow the young lady and don't let her find out."

Then they went straight to the convenience store where they had been yesterday. Wang Qiaoran was already waiting there. The first thing she asked was, "Boss Mu, do you want the PR department to handle the online incident today?"

Mu Shicang nodded, then walked forward. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Have someone check the IP address of the blogger who posted the article. Maybe we can find that woman."

"Yes." Wang Qiaoran held the documents in one hand and made a phone call.

On the other side, Yang Shushu went to Mu Shicang's house and rummaged through his refrigerator. She found that most of what she wanted was there, but she was still missing a few dry ingredients. So she took the phone and went out again.

She came out of the main gate, and just as she walked out of the door, she saw a few people across the street looking at her furtively, with SLR cameras hanging around their necks.

"Tsk! He was right." After saying that, she turned around and retreated, went straight upstairs to find a baseball cap in Mu Shicang's closet, and put it on her head. After all, she is not me, so as long as you can't see her face, you can basically not recognize her.

Going downstairs again, Yang Shushu deliberately didn't look at the person standing opposite her. She turned around and walked to the left, so that she didn't notice that in a coffee shop opposite, there was also a pair of eyes staring at her. Even though those eyes were hidden in the shadow of the hat, they seemed unable to cover up the gloomy coldness.

Yang Shushu pulled the brim of her hat very low, and only relaxed after she walked out of the street where Hanhai Building was.

She was not familiar with this place and had no idea where to buy dry seasoning, so she simply walked away to avoid the people hanging around nearby.

There were two people following her closely, but she hadn't noticed them because they were at a certain distance. The two people weren't too worried at first, thinking that she might just be walking around nearby. It wasn't until she got on the bus that the two people became anxious, started the car quickly, and wanted to catch up, but they found that they were in the opposite lane.

By the time we passed the intersection ahead, the bus had already gone a long way.

One person in the car said to another, "Call the boss."

The man nodded, but it was Wang Qiaoran who answered the phone. The two knew Wang Qiaoran's identity, so they said directly: "Tell Mr. Mu that Mrs. Mu suddenly got on the bus and didn't know where she went. We didn't have time to catch up with her. Now we are chasing her, but please ask Mr. Mu to call Mrs. Mu to confirm her location. It would be better."

Wang quietly glanced at Mu Shicang, who was talking to the owners' representatives, and curled his lips in disdain: "Boss Mu is busy now. I'll pass on his message when he's done."

After saying that, he hung up the phone and walked towards Mu Shicang.

Yang Shushu actually got off the bus after only two stops. She remembered there were some small markets nearby, which mainly sold vegetables, fruits and dried seasonings.

After getting off the bus and looking at the surrounding environment, Yang Shushu couldn't help but sigh. There were only two bus stops between them, but the environment on both sides was so different. The Hanhai Building was a newly developed area in recent days, while the buildings here still maintained the style of the last century. Most of them were deserted, and some even had a big "demolition" character painted on their heads.

Most of the people living here are elderly people, and there are also some migrant workers. Yang Shushu has been to this area before. A colleague of hers used to live here, and she almost rented a house here, but later it didn't happen because of other things.

The small market nearby can basically supply the daily needs of the residents nearby, but because it is not lunchtime or evening cooking time, there are not many people. To enter the small market, you have to walk through an old and quiet alley.

There are not many people in this alley during the day, and almost no one at night. Generally, the timid ones dare not pass through here.

It was broad daylight, so Yang Shushu wasn't afraid. It was just that there was a lot of traffic and people outside, but after just turning a corner, the world seemed to have changed, which made people feel a little uncomfortable.

Yang Shushu quickened her pace and wanted to get out as soon as possible. At this moment, the phone rang. She looked down, was stunned for a moment, and quickly picked up the phone.

"Xiao Yu? What's wrong?"

He ran out last night and she didn't know when he came back. She secretly sent him several messages in bed, but he didn't reply.

She could understand how he felt at the time and he certainly didn't want to talk to anyone. Plus, when he ran away, someone followed him to protect him. Knowing that nothing would happen to him, she didn't ask any more questions and thought she would call him after a few days when he calmed down.

Unexpectedly, he called first. She smiled and slowed down her pace: "Are you home?"

"Well, I'm back. Sorry for making you worry." Yu Xinggui's voice was very soft on the phone, and he seemed to be still in a low mood.

Yang Shushu couldn't help but raise her voice a little, deliberately letting him feel her current emotions: "What are you talking about? I'm not worried. Last night I was wondering if you went to a bar or somewhere to get drunk and pick up girls. I wonder if you brought your niece-in-law back to you early the next morning."

Yu Xinggui was silent for a while on the other end of the phone, but he couldn't help but laugh: "Second sister-in-law...can I...can I call you by your name? I always feel like calling you Second Sister-in-law makes you seem very old."

Yang Shushu was stunned for a moment: "Is there?"

As she spoke, she turned her head again. She seemed to hear footsteps behind her, but when she turned around, she didn't see anyone. She tilted her head in confusion and turned back.

I heard Yu Xinggui say, "Yeah."

What Yang Shushu couldn't see was that Yu Xinggui's hand holding the phone was so nervous that veins were popping out. God knows how long he practiced just for this one sentence.

He didn't know why he did this, but - if he didn't call her second sister-in-law, but called her by her name, he would feel more comfortable.

"Oh, then just call me by my name, or call me sister." Yang Shushu didn't think too much about it.

As she was speaking, she kicked a stone. She looked down and continued, "Xiao Yu, there are some things I may not be able to say, but I still want to..."

At this point, Yang Shushu, who had been lowering her head, suddenly stopped talking, lowered her head to look at the ground, and suddenly shouted: "Who?"

But when she turned around, there was no one there. Yu Xinggui on the other end was startled: "Shushu? Shushu? Where are you? What happened?"

Yang Shushu quickened her pace, looking back from time to time, but her tone remained steady. An Fu could also gradually hear the uneasiness of Yu Xinggui on the phone: "I went to the market to buy some things and walked through an alley. Maybe because there were too few people here, I was a little nervous. It's okay, don't worry, we'll be through this alley soon."

However, Yu Xinggui was not reassured. He put on his coat while holding the phone, ready to go out: "Where are you now? I... Hello? Shushu? Shushu?"
