Chapter 95: Dissatisfied

Aunt Wang followed the two of them into the unit door. Yang Shushu had no choice but to hold Mu Shicang's arm all the way.

The Yang family lived on the fourth floor and the Wang family lived on the third floor. When Aunt Wang finally walked into her home reluctantly, Yang Shushu immediately let go of Mu Shicang's hand. But at this time, they were already standing at the door of their own home. Although their hands were loose, they still had to continue to perform a harmonious relationship.

It was Yang Li who opened the door. When he saw Mu Shicang, his eyes lit up: "Brother-in-law is here, come in quickly."

This enthusiastic shout could be heard throughout the entire stairwell. Yang Shushu glared at him and said, "I'm here, why are you shouting?"

Yang Li didn't take it seriously: "I'm just calling out to the boring old ladies in the building so they don't have to ask my parents about gossip every other day."

Yang Shushu was stunned for a moment. It turned out that Yang Li also knew about this. She thought that Yang Li just hung out outside all day and never cared about family matters.

"Okay, come in." Yang Shushu didn't say anything else and took a pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet at the door and gave them to Mu Shicang.

Mu Shicang stared at the pair of slippers that cost three pairs for ten yuan on his feet, hesitated for a while, and finally put them on.

At this time, Yang's father and mother also came out. Seeing Mu Shicang, they smiled, but they seemed obviously reserved: "Xiao Mu...you are here, come in quickly, dinner will be served soon."

Mu Shicang handed the gift to Yang's mother: "Uncle and aunt, I came here in a hurry and didn't prepare anything. It's not a good show of respect."

He didn't call them mom and dad, but the word "uncle" and "aunt" already made Yang's parents flattered. The pure surprise and joy on their faces made Yang Shushu feel a little guilty. It was conceivable how worried her parents must have been about her life in the Yang family over the past year. Mu Shicang's words "uncle" and "aunt" and a casual gift made him so happy.

Yang Shushu felt that the week she had sacrificed could not be in vain, and Mu Shicang had to pay a higher price to make her parents happier.

So, she deliberately walked up to him and took his arm intimately: "Husband, why haven't you gotten used to changing your way of speaking? You should call them mom and dad."

Mu Shicang turned to look at her, his eyes narrowed slightly, with a warning in his eyes, but she raised the corner of her mouth provocatively and said silently: "Scream."

Mu Shicang felt that the small piece of flesh on one side of his arm was being severely threatened. The waves of pain seemed to tell him that if he didn't cooperate, that piece of flesh would be pinched off.

Never had this feeling before, or rather, no one had ever dared to threaten Master Mu like this. The look in Mu Shicang's eyes became even more dangerous, but Yang Shushu's hand did not loosen at all. Instead, she grinned at him: "Husband, don't be embarrassed. I've married you, so I have to change my words."

Yang's father and mother didn't notice Yang Shushu's actions, but they understood that Mu Shicang was unwilling to change his words, so they tried to smooth things over: "It doesn't matter what you call me, it's all the same."

Yang Shushu's hands were still subtly pinching the small flesh under Mu Shicang's armpits. She smiled at her parents, trying to act as normal as before: "Dad, Mom, there's still soup brewing in the kitchen. It smells burnt."

When Yang's mother smelled it, it was true, so she quickly ran to the kitchen. Yang's father felt as if his daughter seemed to have something to say to his son-in-law, so he pulled his son to the kitchen as well.

When they were the only two people left in the living room, Yang Shushu's hand still didn't loosen. Mu Shicang looked at her gloomily: "Yang Shushu, don't push your luck."

Yang Shushu didn't care: "You stepped into my rain, so you have to let me step into your ruler. I've called all your uncles and aunts, so what's wrong with asking me to call my parents?"

She thought for a moment, recalling the family photo in his bedroom, and then said, "Of course, I can call you Mom and Dad in front of your parents' coffins."

"You are not qualified." Mu Shicang's other hand suddenly pinched her chin, his eyes filled with red murderous intent. He directly lifted her chin and pulled her in front of him, saying in a low and deep voice: "Yang Shushu, remember, you are not qualified to mention my parents, no! Do you understand?"

Yang Shushu was startled. It was the same look she had when she first woke up. She had never understood where his hatred came from, but today, a sudden thought struck her: Was it related to his parents? Could there be something going on between the Yang family and his parents?

That's not right. The Yang family and the Mu family should have no connection at all. How could Yang's parents be related to his parents?

"Mu Shicang, don't think that I really don't dare to fight to the death with you. Let's talk it out clearly. Don't play the gloomy game with me." Yang Shushu was forced to raise her neck, and her chin was pinched uncomfortably, but she still spoke word by word in a sonorous and powerful manner, looking at Mu Shicang's eyes that were surprisingly bright, as if they were arrows of light that could be shot out at any time.

Mu Shicang found that in these unusually bright eyes, there seemed to be two balls of devilish black mist surging there, indescribable darkness.

Is this how he looks in her eyes? He was momentarily bewildered, and Yang Shushu took the opportunity to pull herself out of his hands. She was also stubborn, and it didn't really matter whether she called her parents "Mom and Dad" or not. She had originally wanted to make them happy, but Mu Shicang's attitude now made her rebelliousness even sharper.

"Mu Shicang, if you don't call your parents today, then we'll walk across the bridge. If I can make you, Little Mu, famous in Jinjing once, I'll make you famous a second time."

"Hey, don't threaten me with my parents all the time. Come at me if you're a man. Of course, if you don't think you're a man, I won't force you."

The two spoke in very low voices, as if they were whispering timidly and intimately, and their expressions intentionally or unintentionally avoided the direction of the kitchen. When Yang Li secretly peeked out and then retracted his head, he didn't see anything. Instead, he felt that the relationship between his sister and brother-in-law seemed to be better than before.

"Dad, Mom, don't worry about it. They're not arguing at all. They look like they're just flirting."

Yang's parents were still a little worried. Mothers are always sensitive. As Yang's mother swished the soup in her bowl, she said, "I've noticed Shushu is really different this time. She seems a lot more cheerful. Old man, do you think she's really let things go?"

Father Yang said seriously, "That would be great, but Ling Xiao came back a few days ago. Don't let them meet again. If they meet again..."

Yang Li was stunned when he heard Ling Xiao's name: "He came to our house?"

Father Yang nodded: "Yes, it happened a few days ago."

"Then Dad, you must not tell Shushu about this. She has finally recovered now, and she doesn't want Ling Xiao to go crazy again."

Yang's parents were simply worried that their daughter would be influenced by Ling Xiao again, so they didn't tell Yang Shushu about this. As for what Yang Li was thinking, only he knew.

The three of them reached an agreement in the kitchen, but the couple in the living room were still confronting each other.
