It didn't hit.
The words were so light and subtle, yet they seemed to contain the most smug sarcasm, so hot that it made Princess Ming'an's cheeks burn.
But after a moment of shock, Princess Ming An reacted. She looked at Shen Miao and said angrily, "You must have moved just now. It was you who moved! This palace never misses. If you hadn't moved, how could this palace have missed the target?"
No one expected Princess Ming'an to suddenly attack. Even Emperor Wenhui looked displeased and asked, "Princess, are you saying that hundreds of people at this banquet are protecting Miss Shen?"
Shen Miao stood straight, not even a shrug from beginning to end. It was unclear whether she was feigning or genuine, but if it were, such courage would be enough to impress the hearts of the people. Princess Ming An was startled, but she saw Shen Miao standing opposite her, looking at her, and smiled faintly: "Your Highness, I am willing to accept the loss of the bet. Or...Your Highness, you can't afford to lose?"
