This short distance seemed incredibly long, and Luo Tan missed the days when she could skip and run. When she saw the words "Prince Rui's Mansion," her legs gave way and she nearly fell to her knees.

Luo Tan came to Xie Jingxing for Shen Miao, most likely to find out Shen Miao's whereabouts.
Luo Tan watched Gao Yang warily, her heart aching with anxiety. She hadn't expected to encounter Gao Yang at this very moment, and she felt a mixture of frustration and anger. This seemingly decent man was actually doing something as shady as stalking someone. She was furious at her current weakness; otherwise, how could she not have noticed someone following her?
