Chu Xin looked at the last three words in the text message and was silent for a while before putting the phone aside and continuing to wait for the red light.
After Ji Qingzhou sent the message, he held the phone fearfully, wondering whether Chu Xin would reply to him. He felt that he probably wouldn't. From what he knew about Chu Xin, Chu Xin was very indifferent to people other than his family. It was rare that Chu Xin was willing to help him. He probably wouldn't reply to such a text message that meant nothing to him.
He was thinking nervously when he heard a knock on the door. Ji Qingzhou thought that Zhou Chengfeng had remembered something to say to him, so he turned back and walked over to open the door. However, when the door opened, it turned out to be Fang Yaoxuan standing outside.
Ji Qingzhou was stunned for a moment. He didn't expect Fang Yaoxuan to return to the hotel so soon. He thought he was still having dinner with Fang Zhe and the others. At the moment when he was stunned, Fang Yaoxuan opened the door, squeezed in directly, and closed the door.
"Get out." Ji Qingzhou said.
Fang Yaoxuan leaned against the wall of the entrance and looked at him, "You are so cold, I just spoke up for you, otherwise you might not be able to be the male protagonist."
"Don't worry about it. These things are clearly written in the contract. If the crew can't do it, it's their breach of contract, and they just have to pay compensation."
Fang Yaoxuan sneered when he heard this, "You seem to be quite open-minded."
"So you can get out."
"Ji Qingzhou, I just don't understand. I've been pretty good to you, right? Why do you treat me like this? You're not even willing to say a word to me."
Ji Qingzhou thought it was ridiculous. "What's good about the two of us? Do you want to use me as Luo Yuxin's substitute, or do you want me to use you as a springboard? It's just acting. It's time to go home after the show is over. What else is there to be proud of?"
Fang Yaoxuan felt the anger in his heart surge up when he heard this, and under the evaporation of the alcohol, it turned into a kind of unwillingness and resentment. He took a step forward and stretched out his hand to clamp Ji Qingzhou's cheek. Ji Qingzhou dodged and slapped his hand away, but Fang Yaoxuan grabbed it with his backhand. The next second, he pushed him against the wall and pinched his cheeks.
"If I didn't want you to, do you think you could hurt me?" He leaned closer to Ji Qingzhou and whispered, "I'm just letting you go."
Ji Qingzhou smelled the alcohol coming out of his mouth and asked, "Are you drunk?"
Fang Yaoxuan smiled and said, "Do you want to know? That's very simple. When you're drunk, you can't do anything. Do you want to try and see if I can do it?"
He pulled Ji Qingzhou's hand and tried to reach down. Ji Qingzhou panicked and struggled, "Let me go, Fang Yaoxuan."
However, Fang Yaoxuan was much stronger than him. He struggled for a while, and his cheeks and wrists were pinched red by Fang Yaoxuan, but he still could not break free from his shackles and was held firmly in his hands.
"How dare you use me again and again in front of me," Fang Yaoxuan said angrily, "I have loved you and treated you sincerely, but what about you? You actually just use me again and again. Do you think I won't be angry? Don't you dare to touch you?"
As he did so, the strength in his hands continued to increase. Ji Qingzhou felt pain and panic. He regretted it. If time could go back, he would never provoke Fang Yaoxuan like this, at least not in this space where there were only the two of them.
"I lied to you," he said softly, "I just did that to piss you off. Don't you know whether I liked you or not?"
"So you liked me at that time?" Fang Yaoxuan asked him.
Ji Qingzhou nodded hurriedly, "Let me go first, Fang Yaoxuan, let's talk properly. I want to talk to you properly."
Fang Yaoxuan looked at him with a fake smile, "But how can I trust you? You are so good at making me angry, what if you want to make me angry again?"
"I won't be angry with you, really. Let me go first." Ji Qingzhou looked at him and tried to play the emotional card with him. "You have liked me and treated me sincerely, but is this your love? Would you be so angry with Luo Yuxin and push him against the wall to scare him? You won't. You will only treat me like this. You simply treat me as his substitute and have never liked me." He looked at Fang Yaoxuan with tears in his eyes, full of grievance and sadness.
Fang Yaoxuan felt a little soft-hearted when he was looked at like this, "No, I'm not completely like that. Of course I liked you, but I didn't always treat you as a substitute."
"Then let me go." Ji Qingzhou continued to look at him with a pitiful and aggrieved look.
Fang Yaoxuan unconsciously eased his strength and said softly, "You still care, right? Care that I like Yu Xin more than you? So you did that on purpose to piss me off, right?"
"What else? You obviously only treat me as a substitute, but I really like you. Wouldn't that be ridiculous? I just want to make myself less embarrassed."
"I knew it," Fang Yaoxuan looked at him with joy and light in his eyes, "I knew you were lying to me."
"So can you let me go? You won't do this to Luo Yuxin, right?"
"Okay, okay." Fang Yaoxuan nodded.
Ji Qingzhou felt relieved. He was not afraid of quarreling or fighting with Fang Yaoxuan, but he was afraid that Fang Yaoxuan had other intentions towards him. He could not beat Fang Yaoxuan, and once he lost, Fang Yaoxuan could do whatever he wanted. Therefore, he could only let him let go first, and then find a way to make him leave, or let himself leave.
