Ji Qingzhou saw that he was staring at him blankly and didn't seem very happy, so he asked him, "Are you unhappy? I'm thoughtful."
Chu Cheng silently withdrew his hand and blinked unconsciously, "I'm happy, you finally grew up."
“Does having a heart mean you’ve grown up?”
"Yes." Chu Cheng nodded, "You are now a mature demon."
Ji Qingzhou smiled happily and looked at him, but he saw that although his eyebrows were gentle, he didn't smile. He didn't quite understand, "You are obviously unhappy."
Chu Cheng was naturally unhappy. He had been by Ji Qingzhou's side for so long, watching him grow from a young seedling until he transformed into a human form and accompanied him to the human world. Now Ji Qingzhou understood. He felt that Chu Cheng was really confused. He laughed instantly, and his smile was particularly bright and dazzling against the reflection of the apricot blossoms on the branches.
Chu Cheng saw him laughing and became even more confused, "What are you laughing at?"
I laugh at how stupid you can be, Ji Qingzhou thought to himself, but he didn't tell Chu Cheng. He just looked up at the branches above his head.
“It’s blooming.”
"Well, it's late spring."
"Do you want to eat some fruit?" Ji Qingzhou asked him. He stretched out his hand, and in his white hand were two ripe apricots.
"These fruits were harvested last year." Ji Qingzhou said, "You missed seven years, but it doesn't matter. I saved these fruits for you."
Chu Cheng was stunned for a moment.
Ji Qingzhou took his hand and put the apricot in his hand, "So, what belongs to you still belongs to you."
Chu Cheng heard this, and at that moment, a flash of inspiration came to him. When Ji Qingzhou put the fruit away and took his hand back, he held his hand. He seemed to understand why he came back here, and also seemed to understand the meaning of his words.
He looked at Ji Qingzhou and spoke gently but nervously, as if he understood everything, but seemed still unsure.
"I like you." He.
Ji Qingzhou looked at him, slowly raised the corners of his lips and smiled, "I know." His words were very soft, he said, "I like you too."
Chu Cheng was then sure that he had not misunderstood. He couldn't help laughing and hugged Ji Qingzhou uncontrollably. After seven years, his apricot tree finally knew what love was.
Ji Qingzhou hugged him back, cherishing this hard-earned hug.
If you don't miss someone in your life, you will miss them and suffer from it. When Chu Cheng was around, he was heartless and didn't know what love was. He just wanted to be with him based on his own nature. After Chu Cheng left, he understood his feelings from Bai Xi's words, but Chu Cheng was no longer by his side. He recalled it over and over again, and then he realized that the person should have always liked him.
However, before he could tell him, he was injured.
He remembered that when he kissed Chu Cheng, he said to him, "Wait for me", and Chu Cheng agreed with a smile. He also remembered that when Chu Cheng gave him this name, he said to him, "I will remember you, Ye Qingzhou". He will always come back, Ji Qingzhou firmly believed, so he was waiting for him to come back at the place where their story began, just as he had waited for him to grow up.
He leaned on Chu Cheng's shoulder and said to him, "I don't like separation."
"Then we won't be separated." Chu Cheng assured him gently, "In the future, I will never leave again."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course." Chu Cheng let go of him slightly and looked at him, "I'm very powerful."
