Chapter 62: Make Do

Chapter 62: Make Do

"Hey, come here and take a picture for me." Shen Ruyan stuffed the phone into the assistant's hand.

The assistant quickly took it, raised the phone and pointed it at Shen Ruyan.

"Squat down a little more." Shen Ruyan gestured.

The assistant squatted slightly according to his instructions.

"Mingzhu!" Shen Ruyan shouted, and then a very bright smile appeared on her face.

Mingzhu looked over when she heard the voice, and Jiang Zhi also raised his eyes and looked at the camera indifferently.

In the morning sun, golden light shines.

The figures of the three people were frozen in the picture, and they also had their first group photo.

Shen Ruyan flipped through the photos and was very satisfied that Mingzhu's face was in the picture.

But she thought Jiang Zhi was an eyesore.

I was thinking about going back and finding a professional to photoshop it out without leaving any trace.

Suddenly, Shen Ruyan's fingers, which were enlarging the photo, paused.

He leaned in closer to the screen to examine it more closely.

In the lower right corner of the photo, Jiang Zhi and Mingzhu seem to be holding hands.

But any more was beyond the frame and was not captured.

Shen Ruyan met Jiang Zhi's calm eyes in the photo again.

I just felt that this guy still had that dead look on his face.

But he could still see a hint of provocation in it.

Shen Ruyan turned her head sharply to look.

Sure enough, Jiang Zhi had already wrapped Mingzhu's hands in his palms.

"What are you doing?" He raised his voice.

Mingzhu raised her eyes lazily: "Hmm?"

"Why are you holding hands?" Shen Ruyan pointed at their clasped hands.

This question was so stupid that Mingzhu didn't even bother to lift her eyelids.

"I'm hungry."

Mingzhu spoke naturally.

I didn’t have breakfast and climbed the mountain for so long.

Even though it wasn't her usual mealtime yet.

But Mingzhu still felt a little hungry.

Mingzhu doesn't need to worry about whether she can find food on the top of the mountain.

But as long as she opens her mouth, someone will definitely find a solution.

As soon as Mingzhu finished speaking, Shen Ruyan stood up: “I’ll go buy it!”

Shen Ruyan looked around before she remembered that he was still at the top of Yunling Mountain.

It takes at least four hours to go up and down the mountain.

Apart from the milk tea shop on the top of the mountain, there is not even a stall selling grilled sausages.

He was wondering whether he should buy some dry food from the camping tourists.

Then Jiang Zhi responded calmly: "Okay."

Shen Ruyan was confused and hadn’t reacted yet.

What's good about it?

Then he saw Jiang Zhi take out a three-layer insulation box from his backpack.

The moment the thermal box is opened, hot air wrapped in fragrance hits you in the face.

Although each breakfast item only has two or three bites, the variety is as rich as that in a morning tea shop.

There is no intention to fool Mingzhu at all.

Jiang Zhi moved sideways to block the wind for Mingzhu.

"I'm sorry, miss." Jiang Zhi wiped the dishes for Mingzhu again.

After a pause, he added, "Just make do with it."

The assistant had already bought some bread from the tourists to fill their stomachs.

No matter how thick-skinned Shen Ruyan is.

He was also too embarrassed to ask the girl he liked for food.

"Give me one."

The assistant handed him a loaf of bread.

Shen Ruyan was biting a piece of bread on the side, but she was always paying attention to the interaction between Jiang Zhi and Mingzhu.

He squinted his eyes and looked at it.

I always feel that there is an indescribable atmosphere between Mingzhu and Jiang Zhi.

Especially watching Jiang Zhi carefully blow the food cool and then gently feed it to Mingzhu's mouth.

After Mingzhu finishes eating.

There was obviously still a lot of breakfast left in the thermal box.

Shen Ruyan’s eyes lit up and she was about to speak.

He saw Jiang Zhi close the insulation box again, showing no intention of sharing.

"Jiang Zhi, can you give me some?" Shen Ruyan shook the bread in her hand, "This thing tastes terrible."

Jiang Zhi didn't react at all and directly put the thermal box back into his backpack.

Shen Ruyan eagerly waited for Jiang Zhi's answer.

The air seemed to still be filled with the aroma of food.

After breakfast, Mingzhu should go to the temple.

Jiang Zhi packed up his things and looked up again.

Shen Ruyan was still looking at him.

Perhaps because he was annoyed, Jiang Zhi said calmly, "This is mine."

The lady said that the rest would only be for him to eat.

Shen Ruyan jumped up from the ground, “Hey, are you so stingy?”

Jiang Zhi never spoke to him again.

The temple is not far from the viewing lawn, and many tourists will come here to burn incense after watching the sunrise.

The temple before us is magnificent and golden, completely different from the places where Buddhists practice meditation.

Mingzhu could only smell the stench of money brought by the flourishing incense.

"My grandfather said there's a real monk in this temple," Shen Ruyan whispered close to Mingzhu, "but the master has stopped telling fortunes a long time ago."

In the past two years, even his grandfather came to invite the old monk personally but was still turned away.

This temple was originally dilapidated and old.

It is only because there is a great monk here that so many people come here.

Pilgrims began to compete to donate, and they managed to transform the small temple into its current luxurious appearance.

The bodyguard stepped forward to stop the little monk and whispered a few words to him.

The little monk looked at them slowly for a few seconds, then motioned for them to follow him and led them to the backyard.

Mingzhu glanced at Shen Ruyan.

Didn’t you say forget it?

Shen Ruyan touched her nose awkwardly.

Well, it seems that in the face of absolute power, even monks have to make exceptions.

After passing through temples one after another, the young monk led everyone to stop in front of a simple meditation room: "Donor, we're here."

After saying that, he left quickly.

The bodyguard stepped forward and knocked gently on the door. An old voice came from inside: "Come in."

To Shen Ruyan's surprise, the bodyguard raised his hand to stop Jiang Zhi, indicating that he could not go in either.

As the heavy wooden door slowly closed.

What Mingzhu saw was Jiang Zhi's beautiful eyes gradually being isolated outside through the crack in the door.

Seeing this scene, Shen Ruyan couldn't help laughing, and her shoulders relaxed: "It turns out that you can't go in either."

He patted Jiang Zhi's shoulder and said half-jokingly: "Brother, I almost regarded you as a love rival before."

Jiang Zhi's dark pupils fell on the tightly closed wooden door. He had no expression, but he never looked away.

In the Zen room, the scent of sandalwood wafts through the air.

The old monk closed his eyes slightly and sat cross-legged on the cushion: "Miss Ming, please sit down."

The interior was extremely simple. There was no place to sit except the lonely cushion next to the old monk.

After Mingzhu imitated the old monk and sat cross-legged.

The old monk slowly opened his eyes and looked at Mingzhu.

Mingzhu's conversation with the old monk did not last long.

The wooden door was quickly reopened.

The bodyguard came forward and reported to Mingzhu: "Miss, the private jet route has been approved and you can return at any time."

Shen Ruyan quickly said: "Leaving so soon? There are still many fun places in Ganzhou..."

"I'll go again when I have the chance." Mingzhu interrupted him, "I have something to do and need to go back to Shanghai first."
