Chapter 358 Exchange of Little Yellow Ducks

In a warm and cheerful atmosphere, everyone expressed their gratitude to Song Nuan, a warmth that filled the entire room like the warm spring sunshine. Just then, as if by magic, Zhu Zhu pulled out a series of exquisite woolen handicrafts from her bag. Each piece exuded a unique charm, enough to become the most eye-catching ornament in the room.

She first selected a sunflower of the right size. Its golden petals were delicate and soft, as if they could sway gently in the breeze. She handed it to Chuchu with a smile, "Chuchu, I hope this sunflower can bring you warmth and sunshine. Although I made it myself, please don't despise its imperfections. It's just like you, warm and caring."

Zhu Zhu then turned to Song Nuan, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she handed over a cute little panda. "Song Nuan, you're so adorable! Seeing you always brightens my day. This little panda is a small token of my affection for you. I hope you don't mind its simplicity."

Hearing this, Song Nuan raised the corners of her mouth and blew a kiss to Zhu Zhu, saying with a smile: "Zhu Zhu, you have such a skillful hand! This little panda is so adorable that it melts my heart!"

There were two small ornaments left on the table, one was a lively and cute little duck, and the other was an elegant and noble white swan.

Zhu Zhu took them and walked over to Zhao Qing, her tone full of anticipation: "Zhao Qing, which of these two little guys do you like better? Choose one and take it home."

Zhao Qing's eyes lingered between the duckling and the white swan before she finally decided on the little yellow duck. "Wow, this little duck is so adorable! I can't let it go! I'm going to hold it in my arms as I fall asleep tonight."

However, Chuchu's gaze suddenly grew serious, as if she sensed something unusual about the little yellow duck. She gently tugged at Zhao Qing's sleeve and whispered, "Zhao Qing, I actually like this little duck too. How about we switch?"

Seeing this, Zhu Zhu quickly explained, "Don't worry, Chuchu, I brought my knitting tools. If you really like the duckling, I can knit you a new one tomorrow. I guarantee it'll be just as cute as this one." Chuchu smiled gratefully and said, "Thank you so much, Zhuzhu. You're so thoughtful."

Zhao Qing was also a reasonable person. She immediately understood Chuchu's intention and readily agreed to the exchange: "Actually, making another one is quite troublesome. Chuchu, let's switch. Sunflowers are really suitable for dormitory decorations. I want to be our little sun and illuminate every corner!"

Zhu Zhu smiled helplessly and said, "As long as you are happy."

Song Nuan enthusiastically pestered Zhu Zhu, constantly talking about wanting to learn her unique craft, as excited as if she had discovered a new world.

Seeing this, Zhu Zhu carefully selected the necessary tools and materials from the side and began to patiently guide Song Nuan.

The two figures appear particularly focused and harmonious under the soft light.

Elsewhere, Chuchu quietly changed into her comfortable pajamas and slid into the soft bed. She closed her eyes, ready to enjoy this rare moment of peace, but her hand involuntarily reached for the phone beside her pillow.

The screen flickered to life, and Zhao Qing's heartwarming message leaped into Chuchu's eyes like the warmth of the morning sun: "Chuchu, is there something wrong with Little Duck? There was something a little unusual in your eyes just now..."

A warm feeling welled up in Chuchu's heart. She quickly tapped on the keyboard, her words filled with tenderness and explanation: "No, Qingqing, I just think the little duck is very cute and I like it very much. I'm really grateful that you are willing to exchange with me."

Zhao Qing replied immediately, her words revealing a relaxed and casual tone: "Haha, do we even need to talk about this between us? It's just a small matter, don't take it to heart."

Chuchu replied with a heartwarming smiley face, then slid her fingertips and continued browsing the colorful social platform.

Soon, Zhao Qing's message popped up again, words filled with sincerity and joy: "Chu Chu, I'm so lucky to be in the same dorm with you. You know? You've been a top student in everyone's eyes since you were a child. Not only do you have good grades, but you also have a great personality. Boys and girls all like you very much, and of course I'm no exception!"

Chu Chu felt warm in her heart, and she tapped her fingertips lightly, replying with a hint of sincerity and gratitude: "Zhao Qing, thank you for liking me. I also cherish our friendship and like you too."

On the other side of the screen, Zhao Qing seemed to sense the affection and immediately sent a small heart icon, followed by another message: "Hey, Chuchu, I'd like to invite you to dinner tomorrow and introduce you to my boyfriend. We've been dating since our freshman year of high school. He's now studying at Huaqing University next door."

Chuchu felt a little embarrassed when she saw this message, but she tried not to let her emotions show. She replied, "Isn't this a bit sudden?"

Zhao Qing seemed to be able to read people's minds. She immediately sent a message with an undeniable certainty in her tone: "How could that be? He's heard of you a long time ago. Let's be friends."

After thinking for a moment, Chuchu decided to bring her family to ease the awkwardness. She replied, "Okay, then I'll ask my second brother to come along so that everyone can have more fun."

Zhao Qing seemed to have no objection to Chuchu's suggestion and even made a puzzled expression: "Chuchu, you are so beautiful, why haven't I seen you mention your boyfriend?"

Chuchu smiled slightly, her fingertips dancing lightly on the keyboard: "I haven't met the right person yet." She thought to herself that after living for so long, human emotions were new but also complicated to her. She enjoyed the freedom and tranquility of the moment more.
