Chuchu went straight back to the human world.
It was already late at night in the human world, and the lights from the street shone through the gaps in the curtains, spilling into every corner of the room.
Chuchu casually found a comfortable pair of pajamas from the closet, put them on, and then fell headfirst onto the soft big bed. She quickly fell into a dream and slept until dawn, ushering in the last day before the long vacation.
At school, students were busy preparing their holiday plans. Some were going home to reunite with their families, others were planning trips, and still others were opting to stay in the dorms and sleep in. Chuchu and her friends had a simple meal, then said their goodbyes and each headed home.
Chuchu returned to the Gu family home and immediately felt the warmth and bustle of home. The large round table in the dining room was packed with relatives. Chu Fei, who had just returned from a performance abroad, also appeared at the table with her new friend Lucas. Although the blond, blue-eyed European handsome man looked handsome, Chuchu always felt that he looked a bit like a hairy monkey, and she just couldn't like him.
Chu Fei introduced Lucas to everyone in alternating English and Chinese, looking at him with a beaming smile. Although Lucas didn't speak Chinese fluently, he still tried hard to compliment Chu Chu on her beauty in English. Chu Chu, upon hearing this, responded in English, "We have different aesthetic standards, right? Don't you foreigners like Asian girls with big butts and small eyes? My sister and I are not like that." Her words were a bit teasing and self-deprecating, but they still made everyone present laugh.
Lucas laughed after hearing Chuchu's words. He even said in a rather uncharacteristically good way in Chinese, "Chuchu, you're so humorous." Although his Chinese wasn't very fluent, it was very amusing to everyone, who sent their best wishes to the foreign couple.
However, Chuchu and Song Yaqing didn't laugh as heartily as the others. After dinner, the mother and daughter hid in their room and talked in private. Chuchu asked her mother in confusion, "Mom, I see that you don't seem to agree with Feifei and Lucas being together. Is it simply because you don't like this hairy species, or is there another reason?"
Song Yaqing sighed helplessly and said, "Chuchu, you predicted something when you were a child, remember? You said Feifei would be cheated of her money and her body by a foreigner. Although I know these are just children's words and can't be taken seriously, I still feel a little uneasy."
Chuchu listened to her mother's words. Although she didn't remember making such a prediction, she nodded and agreed with her mother's opinion. "Mom, I know you're worried. Although I can't be sure if what I said back then was true, I've always been very accurate in judging people. Lucas gives me the impression that he's a little unreliable. Just like you said, hairy species are unreliable. We still need to be more careful and protect Feifei."
Chu Chu was full of confidence: "Don't worry, I'm here, big sister won't be hurt. Some people can only be made to reveal their true nature."
Don't rush, take your time.
Chuchu stood by the window, her brows furrowed, her eyes penetrating the layers of mist, as if trying to catch a glimpse of movement in the distance.
Her heart was filled with worry for her master, Patriarch Zixiao, and she was even more anxious about the interrogation Rong Lin was currently conducting.
"Is Master okay? How is Rong Lin's interrogation going?" Chu Chu murmured to herself. Her mind was restless. She still couldn't sense Rong Lin's breath, which meant that he was still in heaven, and the dragon was probably experiencing an unprecedented disaster.
In the heavens, within a resplendent palace, stood a massive interrogation platform, etched with intricate runes and ancient formations. Rong Lin, clad in silver armor, sat majestically at the center of the interrogation platform. His gaze was cold and piercing, as if it could penetrate all lies and pretense.
The interrogated dragon was now chained to the center of the interrogation platform. Its massive body twisted in agony, its scales gleaming coldly under the bright light. Its eyes, once filled with ferocity, were now filled with fear and despair.
"Tell me! Why did you sneak into the Purple Sky Holy Land? What exactly do you want to do?" Rong Lin's voice was low and powerful, echoing in the palace like thunder.
The dragon roared in agony, its voice echoing throughout the empty palace, but it refused to speak. It knew that whether it spoke or not, endless torture and punishment awaited it.
Rong Lin sneered. He had already expected that this dragon would not surrender easily.
He stood up and slowly walked to the dragon's side. He reached out and pulled out a long whip flashing with purple lightning. This long whip was a celestial artifact called "Purple Lightning". It possessed the power of thunder and lightning, enough to make any demon suffer unbearable pain.
"Hmph, you don't want to tell me? Then try this purple lightning!" Rong Lin said, and swung the purple lightning whip in his hand fiercely towards the dragon.
"Snap!" With a loud bang, the purple lightning whip accurately lashed the dragon's body, sparks flying and scales flying. The dragon screamed miserably and struggled in pain, but the chains held it firmly in place, preventing it from escaping.
"I'll ask you again, will you tell me or not?" Rong Lin's eyes became even colder, as if he wanted to see through the dragon.
The dragon was panting, with hatred flashing in its eyes, but it still kept its lips tightly closed, refusing to utter a word.
Rong Lin saw this and a cold smile appeared on his lips. He knew that ordinary interrogation methods would not work for such a demon. He had to use more severe and cruel methods to force it to speak.
