Rong Lin slowly straightened up, his deep eyes gleaming with unprecedented complex emotions, like a thousand-year-old glacier beginning to melt slightly under the warm spring sun, revealing a subtle tenderness and panic. He had never imagined that he would have such a day, facing the one he loved, his heart a mixture of emotions, his words becoming so pale and powerless that he couldn't even muster a complete sentence.
Chuchu's eyes were clear and direct. She asked again, with an imperceptible tremor in her voice, as if she was searching for the answer deep in her heart: "So, what you said about coming to the human world for me was not a lie?" This was another confirmation from Rong Lin, and also a confirmation of her own feelings.
Seeing this, Yixian sighed inwardly. She knew it was best for her to remain a bystander at this moment, so she found an excuse and hurriedly left, leaving the lovers in a tangled mess. "I'll go see Master. You two can have a good chat." Yixian spoke with a calculated sense of lightness. "Chuchu, the reason you are confused about this feeling is because your emotions and intelligence are bound by the ancient seal of your Jiayang Mountain."
Chu Chu's eyes widened when she heard this, a look of disbelief on her face. She had never heard of a seal within her body, let alone how it related to her emotions.
Rong Lin took a deep breath and continued to explain, "This seal was placed by the old Spiritual Lord a long time ago to protect you from the suffering of love. It seals your emotional intelligence, making it impossible for you to truly understand and feel the love in the world."
Chuchu listened to Rong Lin's words, and an unprecedented shock surged in her heart. She looked down at herself, as if for the first time truly knowing herself, the self that was sealed outside the world of emotions.
