Chapter 510: Fiancee Pianist

Rong Lin was beaten badly and could only lie helplessly in the back seat with a barely perceptible trace of pain on his face.

Chuchu drove carefully while observing his situation through the rearview mirror, her heart filled with anxiety and heartache.

"Rong Lin, hold on a little longer, we'll be at the hospital soon." Chu Chu's voice was gentle but firm, trying to use words to distract him and ease his pain.

Rong Lin forced a smile, even though the wound on his cheek was still aching. "It's okay, this little injury is nothing to me." His tone was relaxed, but the fatigue in his eyes was hard to hide.

Arriving at the hospital, Chuchu quickly found a doctor and explained the situation in detail. The doctor quickly treated Rong Lin's wound and prescribed some painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Chuchu gratefully took the medicine and helped Rong Lin leave the hospital.

It was late at night and the street lights were dim. Chuchu drove through the quiet streets, feeling mixed emotions: "I'll take you to a small studio I used to have. It's simple but very quiet." Chuchu suggested with a hint of uncertainty in her tone.

Rong Lin shook his head, a playful smile on his face. "You're being so cautious again now. You just boasted that you'd take care of me. Let's go to my house. I have many houses. They've all been yours since we got married."

Chuchu felt a surge of warmth in her heart when she heard this, but she was also a little surprised by Rong Lin's directness. She asked for the address and let the car navigate to the destination.

Arriving at Rong Lin's villa, Chu Chu was stunned by the sight. The villa was spacious and luxurious, every detail revealing the owner's taste and style. Rong Lin lay sprawled on the sofa. Although severely injured, his eyes revealed a rare sense of relaxation.

Chuchu bustled about. She walked into the kitchen and expertly fried two eggs, fished some toast from the refrigerator, and washed some lettuce. Soon, two simple sandwiches were on the table. She also found some milk that was about to expire and carefully heated it up for Rong Lin.

"For dinner, let's just treat it as breakfast for now." Chuchu smiled embarrassedly. She knew that such a dinner might be too simple for Rong Lin, but at this special moment, she had done her best.

Rong Lin, however, ate with gusto. He praised as he ate, "Chu Chu, your cooking skills are really good. This dinner is even more delicious than those delicacies from land and sea."

After hearing this, Chuchu felt as sweet as if she had eaten honey. She watched Ronglin eat happily, and her worries were temporarily put aside.

After dinner, the two fell into a brief silence. Rong Lin suddenly asked, "Chu Chu, what did you mean by 'three years' the other day? Also, why are you leaving? Are you still planning to leave me?" His tone was serious and uneasy.

Chu Chu's heart tightened when she heard that. She had wanted to find a suitable moment to tell Rong Lin the truth, but now, facing his expectant gaze, she didn't know how to start. She took a deep breath and tried to hide her inner panic with a relaxed tone: "Rong Lin, don't think too much. Those words were just said casually, there is no special meaning."

Rong Lin obviously didn't believe her, but he didn't ask any further. He knew Chuchu had her own secrets, and he was willing to wait for the day when she would speak up.

Over the following days, Chuchu and Ronglin's relationship grew stronger. Chuchu's cheerful personality filled Ronglin's life with joy and laughter. They went shopping, watched movies, cooked, and took walks together...it was as if the whole world had become a better place because of their presence.

On the third day, Rong Lin's fiancée Yang Ya suddenly came to visit. The moment Chu Chu saw Yang Ya, she couldn't help but feel embarrassed and uneasy.

She didn't know how to face this person who suddenly appeared, and she didn't know how Rong Lin would deal with this complicated emotional entanglement.

Yang Ya was an elegant pianist with a noble and refined temperament. She smiled at Chu Chu and Rong Lin, without a trace of hostility or jealousy in her eyes. This surprised Chu Chu and made her worry a little unnecessary.

Yang Ya's voice was soft yet firm, like the warm spring sunshine penetrating a veil. She slowly approached Rong Lin, each step appearing unhurried. After greeting Chu Chu, she said, "Rong Lin, I came to see you because I need to discuss something with you."

Chuchu went upstairs tactfully.

Yang Ya took a deep breath, as if gathering her thoughts. Finally, she spoke softly, "Rong Lin, I have no intention of prying into your private life, but I have to say that a question is troubling me—is this the girl you've always liked?"

Rong Lin's eyes flickered at this, a look of relief at having confirmed an important fact. He nodded gently, a gentle yet slightly bitter smile playing on his lips. "Yes, she is the one in my heart." Saying this seemed to lift a long-held burden from him.

Upon hearing this, a subtle flicker of disappointment crossed Yang Ya's face, but it was quickly replaced by understanding and respect. She lowered her head, her fingers gently stroking the corner of her clothes, her voice trembling slightly. "I see... It seems like it's time for me to leave and give you more space. After all, true happiness is seeing the people you love happy, isn't it?"

At this point, Yang Ya raised her head, her eyes meeting Rong Lin's once again. It was a deep and sincere exchange, silent yet eloquent. She smiled, a smile that held both relief and blessing. "Rong Lin, I hope you'll be happy. No matter who you choose, remember I'll be here, your strongest support."

A warm feeling surged in Rong Lin's heart. He looked at Yang Ya with gratitude. He knew that this friendship was more precious than any words.

"Thanks."

Inside the room, Chuchu sat by the window, staring blankly out. She recalled every moment of her acquaintance with Rong Lin, her heart filled with reluctance and longing. She wondered if she could withstand this emotional storm, or if she still had the courage to face the unknown future.

Just as she was lost in thought, Rong Lin's footsteps were heard outside the door. He pushed the door open and walked in, his face showing a trace of fatigue and helplessness. "Chu Chu, I'm sorry. I made you worry."

Chu Chu raised her head and looked at him, tears glistening in her eyes: "Rong Lin, you and Yang Ya...you..."

Rong Lin gently held her hand and explained softly: "Chu Chu, the matter between Yang Ya and me is not complicated. What I can assure you is that I have broken up with her. It is you I love, and you are the only love in my heart."

After hearing this, Chuchu felt a surge of warmth in her heart. She hugged Rong Lin tightly, as if wanting to melt into his arms. "Rong Lin, I believe in you. As long as you love me, I am not afraid of anything."

Rong Lin also hugged her tightly, and the two of them embraced each other.

At this moment, it seems as if all worries and sorrows have been forgotten, and I only wish that time could stay at this moment forever.
