Chapter 41 Little Idiots

The monster hissed and roared, trying to scare Gu Mingyue away.

But its roar was no threat at all. This humanoid monster was much stronger than the ones they had encountered before. Other monsters turned into PowerPoint presentations in Gu Mingyue's mental domain, but this one could take a step every ten seconds. If given half a day, it would have no problem getting out of this mental domain.

Seeing the monster attempting to leave at a snail's pace, Gu Mingyue raised an eyebrow.

"Little Wolf, Little Green, Little Turtle, Little Thorn, Little Flower, it's time to test your teamwork. Don't use your special abilities, just use your bodies to see how quickly you can extract this monster's crystal core."

As soon as Gu Mingyue finished speaking, the bioelectricity on the hair in their brains connected with their nerves and was transmitted to the depths of their consciousness.

The ten little pets immediately pounced on the monster, tearing and scratching at it.

For the first time, a monster that devours living people solely out of hunger develops consciousness beyond mere hunger.

The ten little pets obviously didn't know how to cooperate yet. Five golden hamsters and the turtle bit the monster's toes and ankles together, and soon the toes were bare, with only the toe bones supporting it on the ground.

The two hedgehogs blindly fired their quills, but instead of causing any fatal wounds, they pricked the monster into a cactus shape, which actually made it harder for Xiaoqing to entangle the monster's body.

So Xiaoqing stretched out her forked tongue, parted her fangs, and bit the monster through the spikes, attempting to kill it with her venom.

That is, the little wolf stood up and bit the monster's head hard, tearing open its chest, which could barely be considered a passable attack. If the attack index of other small pets was rated out of 100, they couldn't even reach 10.

Gu Mingyue shook her head and covered her face in disappointment.

Thinking about the possible monster tides in the future, he resigned himself to personally guiding them.

"You little fools, stop!"

"Follow my orders!"

The ten little pets all let go of their mouths and lined up obediently.

Fearing that the humanoid monsters in Unit 4 might escape or interfere with Gu Mingyue's teaching, Xinghe went directly to the first floor, locked the unit from the inside, and then returned to Gu Mingyue's side.

Gu Mingyue first called out the little wolf, praising and affirming its actions.

Then he said, "Little Wolf, your act of biting the monster's chest can only be scored as 30 points in terms of damage to the monster. The monster's chest is covered with hard ribs, and it is difficult for your mouth to cause serious injury. In the future, you should focus your attacks on the monster's belly, groin, head, and cervical spine."

The little wolf nodded, let out a childish cry, turned to face the slow-moving monster, and slashed open the monster's belly with its claw, revealing intestines covered in yellow pus.

Gu Mingyue nodded in satisfaction.

"Little Thorn, your performance just now was the worst. Not only did you not make things easier for the team, but you also made it more difficult for them to attack the monsters. You get -10 points."

The two hedgehogs glanced at each other and lowered their heads in remorse.

"Don't be sad. Although it's a negative score, you have a lot of room for improvement."

“Come on, look here.” Gu Mingyue took out a pointer from her spatial storage and pointed it at the monster’s eyes.

The humanoid monster, whose intestines had just been ripped out by the little wolf's claw, now found its eyes pointed at by Gu Mingyue. Its fear intensified. If it weren't for its slow movements, it would have loved to run away and escape the building, never to appear near this terrifying woman again.

"Many monsters still rely on their eyesight to locate creatures. What you need to do, Little Thorn, is to shoot as many spikes as possible into their eyes, ears, and nostrils, destroying their sense of sight, hearing, and smell. These monsters will become headless flies, exposing all their weaknesses and leaving them vulnerable to being slaughtered."

The two hedgehogs nodded and began firing at the monster. At first, they couldn't aim accurately, but after a few tries, they got much better.

All six holes were pierced by them.

Gu Mingyue was even more gratified.

"Little snake, come here. Such good venom is useless against monsters. You can use these fangs on someone who tries to trick me later."

Gu Mingyue said with a smile.

Before the mutation, Xiaoqing was as thin as a chopstick; after the mutation, she was only as thick as a dime.

It seemed to have no offensive capabilities. Gu Mingyue touched its slightly metallic-looking scales, pointed her pointer at the monster's pierced eye, and said, "Xiao Qing, you have good climbing ability and strong resistance to poison. You can go into the monster's eye and try to find the location of the crystal core in the monster's brain. Remember the location, we'll need you to pick up the scraps in the future!"

"But don't go in yet." Seeing that Xiaoqing had already climbed onto the monster's neck, Gu Mingyue stopped it.

"Spare this monster's life for now; your companions, Little Flowers, haven't been instructed yet."

The monster's neck swayed slightly, as if it had just ended its miserable situation, but suddenly it was gone again!

Gu Mingyue had Xiaoqing climb onto the monster's neck, and then tightened her grip.

Even if it doesn't make the monster feel suffocated, it can still prevent the monster from swallowing, reducing the monster's chances of biting other creatures to replenish its energy.

They could only hold the meat in their mouths!

Next up were five golden hamsters with their heads tilted back, eager to learn.

Gu Mingyue first pointed to the monster's vulnerable parts, and then pointed to the monster's hands.

"Little Flower Number One, you are a speed-type mutant beast. You can use your lightning speed to bite off the monster's fingers first. Without its claws, this monster's attack power will be greatly reduced."

"Little Turtle, you have a metal-type ability, so you're the tankiest one here. If you see any of your companions about to be attacked, you need to rush up and take the hit. Don't fight with the little flowers for a biting position. If it's a monster with a small mouth, just block its mouth. Monsters that are lower level than you can bite your teeth off and still not hurt you in the slightest."

Seeing that the instruction was complete, Gu Mingyue waved her hand, allowing the pets to demonstrate again before taking out the crystal core.

The monsters on the first and second floors were almost paralyzed with fear. The more they had been happily tearing humans apart, the more terrified they were now.

A hint of fear could be seen in the completely black eyeballs!

This human is even more terrifying than these monsters.

Some monsters have even started to move away from Gu Mingyue, while others are gnawing at and ramming the doorknobs and doors on the first and second floors.

Strange, they clearly rushed out like that just now, why isn't it working now?

Like them, the other survivors heard the sound of the door being slammed and quickly moved wardrobes, suitcases, and other items out and piled them at the doorway, using the wardrobes as a strong barrier to block the door.

The monsters were getting more and more terrifying; they even knew how to break down doors to grab them. The surviving residents were terrified, their minds filled with despair, and they covered their mouths and wept silently.

Seeing the monsters trying to escape, Gu Mingyue walked to their side and released her mental domain. Without showing any mercy, she continued to teach the little pets how to deal with the monsters.

Only after the last monster was killed by the ten pets did she open the unit door, turn around and say to Xinghe behind her, "Xinghe, didn't you have enough killing just now? Come on, let's go on a rampage with the boss!"

"Pah! No, we're the good guys who are going to help the survivors out of danger!"
