"Lin Jiu, don't go crazy. There are only three of us. If you want four, you can go." Tang Miao sat proudly on the chair next to him. "There are so many people. You can pick whoever you want."
"I came here to tell you that I have sent your uncle Tang Ji to the hospital." Lin Jiu stared at Tang Miao's eyes, with the corners of his lips slightly raised.
Tang Miao was stunned for a moment, "Well, then I really want to thank you for minding my business."
"You should indeed thank me. Your uncle Tang Ji has woken up now." Lin Jiu casually sat on the stool next to him and looked up at the wall.
Tang Miao gripped the armrest of the chair tightly. "Lin Jiu, you nosy bitch, I should have killed you here a few days ago, but it's not too late today."
"Tang Miao, stop right there!" Old Madam Tang pushed aside her bodyguards and approached Tang Miao. "The Tang family has produced a despicable descendant like you. As an elder, I feel ashamed. I now order you to stop immediately, disband these mercenaries, and apologize to your uncle. As a member of the Tang family, I will give you a chance to live and send you to study abroad. You are never allowed to touch the Tang family's business again."
"Are you getting old and confused when you say that? Yu Saihua, you're whining to me here. Can't you see the current situation clearly? I'll give you five minutes. Sign this paper and transfer the Tang family's shares to me."
"What if I don't!" The old lady looked at Tang Miao fiercely.
"Someone! Tie her up and beat her!"
At this time, two mercenaries walked towards Mrs. Tang and took out a rope and handcuffs. "Mrs. Tang, which one do you want?"
Tang Miao was a little impatient, "Of course it's handcuffs. What if the ropes get untied? Why are you asking her? Just do it directly."
Lin Jiu folded his arms, leaned against the corridor wall, and kicked the stones on the ground. "Just do as Miss Tang says."
Without saying a word, the mercenaries walked towards Tang Miao, pulled her up from the chair and handcuffed her hands.
Tang Miao looked at everyone with a confused look on her face, "You guys are confused, right? I paid you to catch Old Madam Tang, not me!"
Just then, the mercenaries brought a chair to Mrs. Tang and asked her to sit down.
Lin Jiu walked over and stuffed a piece of rag into Tang Miao's mouth to stop her from shouting and causing headaches.
Tang Miao bit the rag and could only make a whimpering sound.
"Tang Miao, there's no need to waste your energy. An hour ago, I reached an agreement with these mercenaries and became their new employer."
Tang Miao shook her head and actually struggled to spit out the rags. "Impossible! They are all my father's men. They can't possibly betray me."
"You're so stupid. Don't forget they're mercenaries. We'll take orders from whoever offers the highest price." Lin Jiu waved at the mercenaries. "Send her back to prison and let her reflect on her actions."
Tang Miao cried and knelt down in front of Old Lady Tang, "Director Yu, please forgive me for the sake of my father's recent death."
"Tang Miao, I've just pointed out a way out for you. If you stop, I'll send you to study abroad, but you've already missed the opportunity."
The mercenary covered Tang Miao's mouth and dragged her away.
Lin Jiu helped Old Mrs. Tang leave.
At this moment, a noise came from the corridor where Tang Miao left, followed by the shouting of the mercenaries.
Lin Jiu quickly asked the bodyguards to protect Mrs. Tang, "Grandma, please don't wander around. I'll go take a look."
Lin Jiu quickly ran in the direction of the sound.
In the darkness, she felt someone was watching her.
