Chapter 1: Escape from the Wolf's Den

Chapter 1: Escape from the Wolf's Den

"Bring him to Mr. Huang's room."

In the magnificent hotel corridor, a woman in a tight red dress with long wavy hair ordered the bodyguards behind her to take away the unconscious boy lying on the table.

Xu Zhiyuan, who was standing side by side with the woman, looked at the boy and thought it was a pity. He said hypocritically, "Do you really want to send him there? Aren't you afraid that he will disown you as his mother afterwards?"

Lu Xue: "He dares?! Take him over quickly."

The bodyguard took the order and carried the young man, not delaying and hurriedly following Lu Xue who was walking in front.

Before he stepped into the room, Lu Shinian, who was being dragged, suddenly became clear-headed in his trance.

In confusion, Lu Shinian slightly opened his eyes and saw the smooth marble floor, which clearly reflected his current state.

The slightly long hair covered her face, and the black-framed glasses on her nose had fallen somewhere during the dragging process, and her face was flushed.

--Am I not already dead? What's happening now?

He had clearly jumped from more than 20 floors, but his body still seemed to be feeling the pain from all the broken bones before he lost consciousness.

"Ma'am, he seems to be awake."

Lu Shinian's condition was noticed by the bodyguard beside him, who quickly reported it to Lu Xue.

"It's better if he wakes up. I'm sure Huang Jianlin will have more fun. If he had agreed to invest earlier, there would be no need to go through so much trouble."

Under Lu Xue's nonchalant arrangement, the boy, who was not yet fully awake, was taken to a suite.

And Lu Xue's words also reached his ears clearly.

Lu Shinian tried hard to pinch his palm, and the pain in his palm forced him to wake up a little.

He opened his eyes with great effort, and the luxurious chandelier in the suite made his eyes hurt, so he tilted his head slightly.

Shiny black whips, silver shackles, and all kinds of indescribable props came into his sight.

Seeing these things, Lu Shinian's pupils suddenly widened and his body lying on the bed trembled.

Why do these things still appear? Have I fallen into the eighteenth level of hell?

He didn't understand why he could still see these things even after he died. Those painful memories flooded into his mind like a tide.

My heart seemed to be grasped tightly by an invisible hand, and every beat was accompanied by a tearing pain.

He curled up on the bed and clenched his chest tightly, as if this could grasp the last glimmer of hope and dispel the fear and despair that were surging like a tide.

"Click"

The sound of the door opening briefly interrupted his recollections.

Lu Shinian looked in the direction of the voice. As the light was against him, he couldn't see clearly. He only saw that the man who came in was of medium height and round build, and was walking towards him.

When the man approached, Lu Shinian, who had been trying hard to prop up his body and move to the head of the bed, suddenly became bloodshot, his eyes seemed to be crying blood, and he stared at the man.

The man in front of him was none other than one of the culprits that caused his painful memories.

"She's not very pretty, but she's clean and young. Wait for me to pick a suitable one and train her properly."

Huang Jianlin rubbed his hands, evaluated the person on the bed, and then walked aside to select the toys he would use later.

Lu Shinian felt something was wrong with his body. His palms were stained with blood because he had pressed too hard. The blood dripped onto the white bed, looking particularly glaring.

I don't know where he got the strength from, but he picked up a copper ornament on the bedside table, walked three or two steps behind him, and smashed it hard at Huang Jianlin who had just turned around when he noticed the noise.

“Go to hell!”

Huang Jianlin touched his head without reacting. The wet feeling made him put his hand in front of his eyes and see a large amount of blood rushing out from his head.

Stimulated by the blood, Lu Shinian raised his hand and smashed it a few more times without caring, venting his anger wildly.

Until he lost strength and slowly fell to the ground.

Huang Jianlin had already fainted due to excessive blood loss.

When he recovered, he looked at his aching hand with a puzzled look on his face.

--Shouldn't death mean that one can no longer feel pain? Why…

As if he remembered something, he forced himself to stand up and walked to the mirror in the bathroom.

In the mirror, the boy was wearing a bloodstained white shirt, and his hair covered most of his face like weeds.

Lu Shinian used his hands to push away the hair that was blocking his vision and met a pair of clear and bright eyes, but those eyes were bloodshot due to emotional excitement.

--Didn’t Lu Xue ruin my face? How come...

With slightly trembling hands, he stroked the face in the mirror.

The warm touch from his palm made him dazed again.

"Slash his face for me. It makes me want to vomit just by looking at his face."

"You still don't know now, right? I might as well tell you that I'm not your biological mother. That woman is dead, and your biological father doesn't even know you exist. Don't you feel sad? Hahaha..."

He could still seem to hear Lu Xue's devilish voice in his ears, and the tone of his voice was exactly the same as the one when he just ordered someone to send him to the room.

He turned on the faucet, leaned down and buried his whole face in the cold water, until he could feel his heart beating rapidly due to lack of oxygen in his chest, which calmed him down.

Lu Shinian didn't understand why he could come back to life when he should have been dead, and return to the time when nothing had happened.

The most urgent thing is to leave here as soon as possible. There is obviously something wrong with his body. If he doesn't leave now, he might not be able to leave when Huang Jianlin wakes up.

Lu Shinian staggered out, holding onto the door.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw two bodyguards wearing earplugs, yawning and looking sleepy not far away, and he almost lost his balance and fell to the ground.

After calming himself down, he walked cautiously towards the nearby corner.

Just as he was halfway around the corner.

"The one in white, stop! What do you do?"

I heard the bodyguard's voice behind me.

Without having time to think, Lu Shinian cheered himself up and ran forward.

When he ran to the end, there was only a half-open door in front of him.

He pushed the door open without hesitation, closed it behind him, and leaned against it to listen to the noise outside.

After a burst of noisy footsteps, the corridor became quiet.

Lu Shinian slowly breathed a sigh of relief, his body relaxed, and he could no longer hold back the surge of heat, letting out a blushing, heart-pounding moan.

He took a quick look around the room, found the direction of the bathroom and stumbled over.

“Boss Shen, look at this…why don’t I call someone over.”

A man in a black suit who looked like an assistant appeared at the door of the room, carefully supporting a tall man.

"Is the water ready?"

The man who was being supported asked in a low and hoarse voice.

"It's put away."

"Get out and don't let anyone in."

The assistant hesitated at the door.

"Get out! Close the door."

Shen Yuan scolded coldly, frowning, and it was obvious that he had reached the limit of his patience.
