Chapter 2: Entering the House
Pei Shinian was so angry that he opened his address book again, found Gu Yanshen's contact information, and dialed it.

He was completely unaware of the triumphant smile on Shen Yuan's face, who was being supported by him.
"Pick out two sets of clothes for yourself to change into, and leave as soon as the rain stops at daybreak."
After Pei Shinian took him to the cloakroom, he turned back to his room and took a hot bath.
He wiped his hair casually with a towel, then walked to the kitchen and kindly cooked a bowl of ginger soup for Shen Yuan, just to be a good person.

At this time, Shen Yuan was bare-chested, with a pair of strong and powerful long legs clearly exposed to the air. He only had a towel wrapped around the key part in the middle. The towel was seen shaking as Shen Yuan walked.
Pei Shinian suspected that apart from the towel, Shen Yuan was wearing nothing underneath, so he quickly turned around.

"Where do I sleep at night?"

This house was just a temporary place for him to stay when he got off work too late. He had been busy with work at the company recently, and he had to avoid Shen Yuan, so he lived here for a long time. There were only a few simple pieces of furniture in the flat, and the most important problem was that there was only one bed. If he had to change someone else to sleep with a different quilt, he could still make do for one night, but with Shen Yuan...
Pei Shinian gritted his teeth, looked around, fixed his eyes on a sofa less than 1.5 meters high not far away, and raised his hand to point.
"You will sleep there today."

When he turned around, the wound on his back was clearly exposed in front of Pei Shinian, which stunned him for a moment. He suddenly remembered that this man had just been discharged from the hospital. He pursed his lips and brought the ginger soup he had cooked earlier to Shen Yuan.
"Hey, I accidentally cooked too much."
Shen Yuan was a little flattered for a moment. He sat on the sofa for two seconds and did not immediately take the bowl he brought over.
Pei Shinian thought he didn't want to drink it, even though it didn't look that good and there was a large piece of ginger floating on the soup.
He immediately felt that his kindness was taken for granted, and was about to throw the soup and bowl into the trash can, but Shen Yuan snatched it away from him. He didn't care whether the ginger soup was still hot or not and drank it in three or two gulps.
“Is it so delicious?”
Pei Shinian was a little surprised. Could it be that he was gifted in cooking? Otherwise, why would Shen Yuan look like he was afraid that someone would snatch it from him?
Shen Yuan's expression changed for a moment, but in the next moment he said to Pei Shinian in a positive tone, "It tastes good."
Pei Shinian did not doubt him. He looked at the sofa, most of which was occupied by Shen Yuanguang, and paused.
"How about you sleep in the bedroom?"
A gleam of light that was hardly noticeable to others flashed across Shen Yuan's eyes, and his heart couldn't stop leaping with joy. He was happier than he had been with any successful project for Shen's company. But the next second, his heart, which had just leaped with joy, fell back.
"I'll sleep on the sofa."
This was a rare moment of Pei Shinian being kind-hearted, but he regretted it as soon as he said it. This was his own home, so why should he put himself in such a difficult position?

Pei Shinian threw himself into the sofa angrily. It was almost four in the morning. If he didn't take advantage of these few hours to rest, he would not have the energy to deal with the company's documents during the day.
Although he was half a head shorter than Shen Yuan and his body was smaller than Shen Yuan's, he was over 1.8 meters tall and this small sofa could not accommodate him.
