Chapter 116 Choice (1/2)

"Miss Fan, are you sure you want to sell them all now? The price of gold is soaring, and holding on will definitely bring greater profits."

Fan Juan's business partners advised her not to sell her gold holdings.

“I’m also very reluctant to leave, but my visa is about to expire and I have to return to my motherland. So I’ve decided to sell all the gold I have. Compared to others, we are partners, and you have priority, so I’m telling you first.”

“Miss Fan, why don’t you choose to stay? You have excellent judgment, and our cooperation has been very pleasant. I can help you find a solution.”

The man's eyes were filled with deep affection.

"Everyone has their own ambitions, and my family is still waiting for me."

Fan Juan rejected the man.

"In that case, I can only wish you well. If you regret it in the future, you can call me."

The man didn't try to lower the price, after all, the price of gold was rising every day, and too many people were eyeing it.

After receiving the money and transferring it, Fan Juan let out a long sigh. "That damned man, what was he pretending for? Did he think she didn't know his filthy thoughts? He already has a fiancée, yet he said he'd help her find a way. He just wanted her to be his mistress."

Next, Fan Juan packed her things and waited for Qin Nian.

Upon entering the airport and going through security, their luggage was thoroughly searched, their suitcases were damaged, and they were even subjected to a body search—clearly a targeted attack.

"You yellow-skinned people are not allowed to take anything that belongs to us."

Qin Nian and Fan Juan removed their earrings. Seeing that these people were taking advantage of them, especially the male security guard who wanted to touch them, the two of them stood up for themselves.

"At worst, I won't leave. I refuse to believe that I can't deal with you all in my name as your teacher. If I stay, none of you will have an easy time."

Qin Nian stared coldly at the security guard.

“I know Gerald, his phone number is ******, you can call him.”

Fan Juan tossed her long hair, her gaze equally cold.

"Oh, there must be some misunderstanding. This is the policy from above, and they are just following the rules. They have offended you two ladies. If you have no problem, you can go ahead."

After a while, someone finally came out to smooth things over.

After Qin Nian and Fan Juan successfully boarded the plane, they secretly squeezed each other's hands to encourage one another.

The plane took off, and the roar was so loud it hurt people's ears.

Family compound

Yang Yufen looked at the row of mud monkeys in front of her, the smallest of which, Xiao Bao, was the same size and stood in the far corner.

"You said you were going to catch cicadas, so tell me now, what's the deal with this pile?"

The snails and shells on the ground, the eels and loaches in the bucket, as well as frogs and unidentified fish.

Yang Yufen had always thought that only children in the countryside liked to play in the mud and get all dirty. Now, looking at these children, Yang Yufen took another deep breath.

"Grandma Yang, we did go to catch cicadas, but we saw loaches in the field, so we went down into the field. Uncle Wang said we could catch them, so we caught quite a few. It wasn't that dirty to begin with, but we took off our shoes before going into the field."

But Xiao Bao slipped on the embankment and fell into the paddy field. I picked him up, and Li Wu caught a snake, which scared Wang Xing. Wang Xing lost his balance, and Li Wen was next to him. Then they all fell into the field and ended up like this.

As the eldest child, Hu Zhenghao explained what had happened.

Yang Yufen saw the snake hanging around Li Wu's neck, its head curled up.

"So you just paraded around like that and scared Yao Yao and Miao Miao to tears! Didn't you know to put this thing away properly?"

Hu Zhenghao quickly shook his head.
