"Okay, Grandma loves listening to you read."
Yang Yufen smiled and led the children to the big banyan tree, then listened to the children recite their lessons and watched them run around.
"Mom told us to take care of the kids, but the kids aren't clingy to us; they're very clingy to their grandma."
Shen Xianjun was a little jealous.
“They were all raised by their mother. We haven’t done anything for the children. It’s normal for the children to be attached to their grandmother. It’s hard on our mother who has always taken care of the children for us.”
Qin Nian quite liked the scene, and her mind drifted back to the washing machine at home. She realized she still needed to buy some more things for the house, and she would see how much money she would have left after buying the house.
Qin Nian was lost in thought and didn't notice what Shen Xianjun said beside her.
Shen Xianjun didn't get a reply from his wife, and seeing that she was thinking about something, he silently shut his mouth.
"I'll go back to the research institute tomorrow, and you'll come with me the day after tomorrow."
Qin Nian suddenly spoke up, and Shen Xianjun responded.
"good."
The next morning, Yang Yufen made cold noodles.
"Mom, I can do it too, I know how to do this."
Shen Xianjun offered to help, but Yang Yufen refused.
"Go, go, go. The child wants to eat what his grandma makes. Go pick some tomatoes and cucumbers. The child likes them. Those apricots can't be kept for too long. Take them out and let the child take them on the way."
Yang Yufen shooed everyone away and busied herself in the kitchen, frying several eggs and rinsing the noodles, but keeping the toppings hot, as it wasn't good to eat something too cold so early in the morning.
"Wow! Grandma, I smell something delicious! I'm going to brush my teeth right now!"
Li Wu ran into the kitchen with a pleasant surprise, hugged Yang Yufen first, and then happily rushed out to brush his teeth.
After washing up, Liwen obediently stood next to Yang Yufen. After his grandmother served him noodles, he happily sat down at the table to eat.
Shen Xianjun cooked a whole bowl of noodles by himself, which made the two children unconsciously speed up their eating.
Qin Nian has gradually adapted over the past few days, and her meals are no longer the same as when she first came back. However, Yang Yufen still habitually fills Qin Nian's bowl to the brim, making Qin Nian eat until she is stuffed.
"Mom's cooking is really delicious. I feel like I've gained a lot of weight since I came back not long ago."
Qin Nian touched her face.
"It seems so, but being a little chubby is good."
Shen Xianjun glanced at it and casually replied. Qin Nian's hand paused for a moment, then she silently quickened her pace.
"Teacher, I need a few trustworthy people. I recently compiled some information that we need most right now because it uses a simple note-taking method that I created myself, which allows for more concise and faster note-taking."
"Okay, what are they all related to? I'll pick out a more suitable person for you."
After Qin Nian finished explaining her needs, Dean Hu quickly called over a few people and even gave them a separate office.
No one who gets into the research institute is a fool. Qin Nian took out his manuscript, drew symbols on the blackboard, and began to speak. That's how the simple classroom was formed.
There were questions and answers, and discussions among ourselves. The day went by very quickly, and even lunch was quickly eaten in the office.
Shen Xianjun didn't understand much of what he was saying, but he still listened along.
My gaze fell on Qin Nian, who was working diligently, and the afterglow of the sunlight shone through the window onto her cheek.
Shen Xianjun immediately snapped back to reality when there was a knock on the door.
"Teacher, what brings you here?"
"I've come to check on your progress. How's it going?"
Dean Hu looked at Qin Nian.
"Everyone here is very capable; they understand things very quickly."
Qin Nian smiled gently.
"Comrade Qin is truly remarkable. He explained every question we raised in great detail, giving us a lot of inspiration and answering many of our doubts."
The group of people who came to learn felt that Qin Nian was too modest; they could say they had benefited greatly from the experience.
