Shen Xianjun has now become incredibly shameless.
He doesn't mind if people say he has powerful connections; if others want to get close to him but can't, they're just jealous.
Hu Jun scoffed.
Shen Xianjun knew that there was no problem.
"I'll take a day off to return the car."
"I'll give you half a day off. Come to my office in a bit."
Hu Jun agreed. Upon hearing this, Shen Xianjun chuckled and thought, "The oil issue is resolved. My brother-in-law won't abandon me."
When Shen Xianjun returned home, he didn't see Yang Yufen. He put the oil away, went to the kitchen to cook dinner, and then, estimating the time, rode his bicycle to the research institute.
"Could you please pass on a message to your researcher Qin? I am her husband. Tell her that I'm here to pick her up from get off work and see if she goes home today."
Shen Xianjun took out a pack of cigarettes and smoked one.
"I recognize you, but unfortunately, Researcher Qin is not at the research institute today."
Upon hearing this, Shen Xianjun left dejectedly. His wife wasn't at the research institute, and no one knew where she had gone.

Xiao Bao was the first to be carried into the car, the twins and Wang Xing squeezed into the back of the truck, and Hu Zhenghao sat behind Chen Xianjun.
"Daddy, Daddy, this car is faster than a bicycle!"
Li Wu spoke excitedly.
