Professor Wen brought several children to the scenic area.
"The foreign languages you've learned will come in handy. Many foreigners come here but don't understand our language. They want to learn about our culture and need someone to introduce them. They'll give you tips, and if you give a great introduction, the tips will be quite high."
Li Wu could hardly believe what his grandmother was saying. Was this something they could do?
"Of course, before that, Grandma will show you around. If there's anything you don't understand or don't remember, you can ask Grandma anytime."
Professor Wen, speaking both Chinese and foreign languages, began to guide the children through the entire process, starting with buying tickets. Li Wen and Wang Xing listened attentively. During the process, Professor Wen's fluent foreign language attracted some foreigners to come forward.
Professor Wen encouraged the children to greet the foreigners confidently and guided them in conversation.
Li Wen and Wang Xing soon caught up with the conversation and relaxed. Everything seemed not so difficult after all. With Professor Wen's explanation of the professional terms they didn't know, the two children quickly adapted.
A group of people were chatting when suddenly a splash was heard, and a small figure darted out.
"Liwu!"
Professor Wen's face turned deathly pale when he saw Li Wu jump into the water without hesitation.
Hu Zhenghao followed closely behind.
"Save my child!"
A woman was crying and shouting. She was sitting on a pedal boat, a sightseeing boat on the lake.
In the water, a two- or three-year-old child was struggling. Li Wu swam over at lightning speed and grabbed the child who was about to sink.
The child was flailing his arms and legs, trying to climb onto Li Wu, but Li Wu sank down a little.
"Let go, Liwu!"
Hu Zhenghao shouted, and Li Wu subconsciously let go. Hu Zhenghao grabbed the child's clothes from behind and swam towards the shore with the child.
Upon seeing this, the women on the boat quickly steered the boat toward the shore.
Li Wu quickly caught up with Hu Zhenghao and climbed ashore.
Someone has already helped pull the child who fell into the water ashore.
Hu Zhenghao turned around and pulled Li Wu along. Both of them were soaking wet, but applause rang out around them.
"These two kids are really amazing; their parents have taught them so well."
Li Wu felt a little embarrassed when he heard the praise around him.
"Zhenghao, Liwu, come here. I'm sorry, the child is all wet and we need to take him to change his clothes."
Professor Wen stepped forward, and Hu Zhenghao quickly pulled Li Wu over upon hearing this. Li Wen and Wang Xing followed. Professor Wen quickly bought clothes for the two of them and helped them change out of their wet clothes.
"Liwu, come here, Grandma has something to say to you."
Professor Wen looked very serious. It was the first time Li Wu had ever seen his grandmother like this, and he was a little scared, but he still obediently walked up to her.
"Liwu, it's good that you did something brave, and Grandma knows you're a good child in that respect. But you're still too young. Do you know how dangerous it was just now?"
Professor Wen looked at Li Wu and could see the child's fear, but he knew he had to say what needed to be said.
Hu Zhenghao wrung out the wet clothes and put them away. He had been frightened and knew his grandmother was going to say something.
"Do you know how dangerous Li Wu's actions were just now?"
Professor Wen then looked at the other two children.
"My brother was almost pulled into the water, and there were many adults around."
Li Wen spoke.
“There are other boats in the lake, and they have oars underneath them. It would be very dangerous if you got caught in one.”
Wang Xing added.
“Yes, Liwu, you are still young. There were so many adults around at the time, and there were also many hidden dangers. A wise person does not stand under a crumbling wall. In such a situation, you should ask an adult for help first. If there is no adult, you should think of a safer approach instead of putting your own safety aside.”
Professor Wen patiently explained to Li Wu, who nodded in agreement.
