"It's good that nothing was wasted. Since it's already prepared, let's bring it over and eat together. Your dad will be back tonight too."
Professor Wen nodded with satisfaction upon hearing the children's words.
"Yes, I'll cook a few dishes and make some sauce, then we can use them to wrap in pancakes."
Yang Yufen also spoke up, when suddenly she felt a weight on her head. Li Wen had put something on her head without her noticing.
Yang Yufen reached out and touched it.
"A silver comb, oh my, this style is really beautiful."
Yang Yufen took it down.
“You’ve been away from home lately because you’ve been preparing gifts for Grandma. Grandma’s life has been so wonderful to have such a good daughter-in-law like your mother and two such good grandchildren like you.”
Yang Yufen was overjoyed and felt full of energy. For the sake of her two grandchildren, she wanted to live a few more years and accumulate more wealth for them.
Qin Nian returned home carrying a cake, surprised to find the house so lively.
