Chapter 204 The Bear Grandparents and Grandchildren Lacking Education (1/2)

As the train sped along, Li Wu's initial reluctance turned into curiosity about the outside world; this was his first time leaving home for a long trip.

Even the most beautiful scenery can become tiring to look at.

"Grandma, how long will it take us to get there?"

The bus was crowded, and Li Wu, who couldn't move around as much as he did at home, found it rather uncomfortable.

"We won't arrive until night. Are you hungry?"

Yang Yufen felt sorry for the child when she saw Liwu's appearance.

Li Wu nodded, and Yang Yufen took out the thermos and poured water into it. She also brought out the pancakes she had made early that morning, the washed cucumbers and persimmons, and the smoked chicken legs.

"Wow, Grandma, you're so kind!"

Li Wu's mood instantly brightened when he smelled the food.

Teacher Gao took away more than just Li Wu this time. Li Wu was the youngest, but compared to the other children, only Li Wu had his grandmother, Yang Yufen, personally escorting him. The other children were all taken care of by Teacher Gao.

When Teacher Gao walked over, she saw that the grandfather and grandson were already eating, but she still put down the food box she was holding.

"This is a boxed meal on the train. The old lady and the child should both try it. We'll be there in seven hours."

"Okay, Ms. Gao, go and watch the other children."

Yang Yufen quickly took it; there were many people in the car, and it wasn't easy for Teacher Gao to squeeze through.

Teacher Gao thanked him repeatedly, explaining that he was quite busy with several children and that's why the lunch boxes arrived so late.

Li Wu had already eaten a smoked chicken leg, but he was still very curious about what the boxed meals on the train would taste like. Seeing the child's gaze, Yang Yufen opened the boxed meal and placed it in front of Li Wu.

"Eat."

"It smells so good, Grandma! I want chicken drumsticks too! I want meat! And they even have boxed lunches!"

A boy across the street suddenly started making a fuss, pointing at Yang Yufen.

The chubby child, who looked about the same size as Li Wu, grabbed his grandmother and shook her.

"Ouch, ouch, slow down, my dear grandson, eat, let go of my hand first."

The old lady was groaning while coaxing the child.

"Hey sister, my grandson really wants to eat meat. Can you spare one of your chicken legs for me?"

The man spoke to Yang Yufen.

"Then give me a dollar."

Yang Yufen did not refuse.

"What the hell? One yuan? How can you do this? You're deliberately trying to tempt the kids and asking for an exorbitant amount."

The old lady immediately became unhappy.

"I've already given you a discount of one yuan. If you can't afford it, buy a boxed lunch for your child. They sell them on the train."

Over the years, Yang Yufen's temper has become much milder. When faced with such a situation, she didn't lash out with insults, but simply replied with a remark and told Liwu to continue eating and not to be affected by others.

Hearing the commotion, many people who had been drawn by the aroma of the chicken legs hadn't dared to approach the old man and the child. But now, hearing the excitement, they couldn't help but peek over to see what was going on.

"You old hag, give me the chicken leg!"

Just when everyone thought that was the end of it, the brat across the street suddenly yelled and rushed over to attack Yang Yufen.
