Because there were witnesses, the Xiong grandfather and grandson had no grounds for complaint. They insisted on not paying for the boxed lunch and just happened to catch the train. The two squeezed their way off.
"What a pity. The meal was perfectly fine, but it was barely touched and was all over the floor. I'm sorry to have troubled the flight attendants to clean it up."
Yang Yufen nodded apologetically to the flight attendant and helped clean up the seats on the floor.
"Grandma, you were so amazing!"
Li Wu's eyes sparkled, and he couldn't wait to speak after Yang Yufen sat down.
“You’re amazing too. You protected Grandma right away. Grandma knows that we don’t cause trouble, but we’re not afraid of trouble either. Yang Yufen patted Li Wu's head. After the activity, Li Wu no longer felt bored and had a good appetite. He happily ate three chicken legs before laughing contentedly.
Teacher Gao had already gone back to her seat when she saw that the two were alright. She didn't know how the old lady had explained things to the child. That's how a troublemaker was born.
The train arrived at the station around 11 p.m. Yang Yufen woke up Li Wu, who was asleep. Li Wu took Yang Yufen's hand and followed her off the train, still half asleep.
"I'll stay at the guesthouse for the night; it's too late to go back now."
Teacher Gao led everyone to a guesthouse near the train station to stay. Yang Yufen paid for a room herself so that her child could sleep comfortably.
Li Wu nodded groggily, then fell asleep as soon as his head hit the bed. After a day on the train, he was already feeling a bit dizzy, let alone after such a long journey.
Yang Yufen shook her head slightly, took off Liwu's shoes, picked up the child and put him in bed, covered him up, and tidied up a bit before resting.
Early in the morning, Teacher Gao knocked on the door.
"I'll take everyone to have breakfast, a local specialty breakfast. After we finish eating, we'll take a bus, which should take about two hours to get there."
Two hours later, Yang Yufen frowned slightly. Actually, it takes a long time to travel back to her hometown by car, but she was used to it as an adult and never felt anything when walking on mountain roads before.
But the thought of having to take such a long bus ride home for her child in the future made Yang Yufen feel a little heartbroken.
Yesterday, when they boarded the train, the group of children were still too shy to greet each other. But now that they're having breakfast, they've started introducing themselves. Yang Yufen didn't stop Li Wu from saying that when you're away from home, why not raise a big flag? When they're not around, the children can have a better life.
