Chapter 206 Provocation Backfires (1/2)

During the three days they spent getting to know each other, Yang Yufen left Li Wu fifty yuan.

"Keep your money safe and don't spend it recklessly. Remember to call home often."

"Okay, Grandma, don't worry."

Upon suddenly receiving a huge sum of fifty yuan, Li Wu happily tucked it into his pocket. This was different from what he earned himself; it was his grandmother's love for him, as he knew. His father only received twenty yuan in pocket money, so he had much more than his father.

Li Wu watched Yang Yufen leave, and Yang Yufen kept looking at her until the car turned the corner and disappeared from sight before turning back.

My heart aches a little. I've watched that tiny little thing grow up to be able to travel far from home now.

"Hey kid, you've got so much money, you should treat us all to some ice cream as a token of your appreciation."

Just as Li Wu was feeling reluctant to leave after the car was out of sight, he was suddenly surrounded by children from other places who were participating in training.

"Why should I use my money to buy you ice cream? There are so many of you, how much money would that cost?"

Li Wu stuffed the money in again to make sure it wouldn't fall out.

"You're being rude. We'll all be training in the same place from now on. So what if you're from Beijing? There are only six of you, while we have ten."

"What does this have to do with a few people?"

Li Wu was puzzled.

"You're not trying to rob me, are you?"

Li Wu suddenly realized what was happening, and then looked on in disbelief.

"Aren't you afraid of the coach? The coach said no trouble is allowed."

Li Wu brought out his coach.

"Hmph, whatever you say goes? Since you won't listen to us, don't blame us for being impolite. We've been watching you for days, little fatty. I didn't expect your family to be so rich, throwing around fifty yuan like that."

As they spoke, the group approached Li Wu.

"Wait, if you're going to rob me outright and even try to fight me, don't blame me for being impolite. I will fight back."

"Hey, this kid knows how to talk tough."

The boy in the lead found it funny and reached out to push Li Wu, but then he felt his hand being grabbed. He then saw the blue sky, felt dizzy, and experienced a sharp pain in his back.

"I already said I would fight back."

"Ah! Hit him! Hit him!"

The other children, who were initially stunned, came to their senses upon hearing the sound and rushed towards Li Wu.

"You guys actually want to gang up on me? That's so unsportsmanlike."

Li Wu muttered to himself, but instead of running away, he rushed towards the people who were surrounding him, kicking one of them over with each step. While the others were still stunned, he ran away in a flash.

"Help! Someone's trying to kidnap a child!"

His loud voice could be heard from a distance, and he quickly walked over.

"Uncle, help me! Someone is chasing me. They want to rob me and beat me up. If I didn't know some kung fu, I would have been beaten to death! I'm scared!"

Those who were chasing after him widened their eyes when they heard Li Wu say he was scared.

"What are you doing? No, aren't you all kids here for training? Why are you fighting?"

"Uncle, it's not a fight, it's a robbery. They saw my grandma giving me pocket money and they wanted to steal it from me. Look at that group of them, they're so mean!"

Li Wuyi corrected him with righteous indignation.

"You're the one who hit us, aren't you?"

When the children saw that there were adults around, they naturally didn't dare to talk about what they had just done, and only mentioned that they had been beaten.

"Hmph, you think I'm stupid just because I'm young? Only a fool would believe you if I went and fought against a whole group of you for no reason. I'm going to ask Teacher Gao to stand up for me."

Just kidding. Li Wu usually hangs out with Wang Xing and Hu Zhenghao. He just doesn't like to use his brain. He's not really stupid. He's the older brother of the genius younger brother. How could he be stupid?
