"Wow, Shen Liwu is really that good! Their fight was amazing!"
The cheers gradually subsided, turning into exclamations of amazement.
Jiang Cheng wanted to perform a back throw on Li Wu, but unexpectedly, Li Wu was as heavy as a thousand-pound weight, and he couldn't move him on the first try, which gave Li Wu an opportunity instead.
With a stumble, Li Wu pressed down on Jiang Cheng, pinning him down.
"I lost."
Jiang Cheng spoke, feeling the weight pressing down on him was truly unpleasant. This guy was younger than him, but how did he know so many things, and had all sorts of moves?
"I admit, you're pretty good too. If you hadn't tried to back throw me, I might not have been able to beat you so quickly."
Li Wu grinned, showing his big teeth, while Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes, got up, and dusted himself off.
This chubby kid is too confident. What does "not so quick to win" mean? It means he's sure he'll win.
How much do you eat in one meal?
Jiang Cheng suddenly stood up and asked a question.
"I can eat three big bowls of food in one meal."
Li Wu happily put away the extra five yuan in his hand.
"But I'm happy that I can eat a little more. The food is delicious, so I can eat a little more."
Li Wu added that he was very happy now and felt like he could eat five big bowls of rice.
Jiang Cheng was speechless; this little fat boy could eat way too much.
Grandpa used to say he was too thin and should eat more, but he always felt that if he got fatter, his body wouldn't be as agile. However, one day he lost to someone else because of their weight, which he never expected. He regretted not listening to his grandfather and eating more.
They took the morning bus and arrived in the evening, and the afternoon bus and arrived the next morning. There was no one in the Wang family compound, so Yang Yufen packed her things and went to see the children first.
"Aunt Yang is back! Congratulations! Your grandson Liwen won second place in the math competition. So many students from the school participated, from third to sixth grade."
What competition?
Yang Yufen was somewhat bewildered.
"you do not know?"
"I haven't been home these past few days, and my child got the second one. That's amazing! Oh, it's all thanks to Professor Wen. Thank you so much! Here, have some candy. This candy is different from the ones we have here."
Yang Yufen happily took out some candy from her pocket and gave it to the other person, then quickened her pace toward Professor Wen's house.
Hearing good news as soon as she got back was naturally delightful. However, she missed out because the child hadn't told her. But she was still worried about Li Wu not being settled.
"Grandma, you're back!"
Liwen happily rushed towards Yang Yufen. It was a holiday today, and he had been thinking about when his grandmother would come back this morning. To stop himself from thinking about it, he had been studying all morning. He had just relaxed when he unexpectedly saw his grandmother's figure downstairs from upstairs, and he immediately ran downstairs and rushed out.
"You're back! Grandma brought back lots of delicious food. Come on, let's go inside and share it with your grandma and grandpa."
"Okay, how's Liwu doing? Is it as good over there as home?"
Liwen still cared about his older brother, fearing that his foolish brother might be bullied.
"It's pretty good, except the mosquitoes bite quite badly."
How can things outside compare to home?
"That's good, Grandma. I have some news for you."
Upon hearing this, Yang Yufen stopped in her tracks.
"What news?"
"Grandma, I came in second place in the math competition. Wang Xing came in first, and we were only one point apart."
Li Wen was a little embarrassed.
"Wow, you skipped a grade and got such good grades, and you even participated in a competition. You're better than your dad."
