"You want some too? Don't you not eat spicy food?"
"I want to try it."
Qin Nian spoke up, saying that every time she saw Shen Xianjun enjoying the chili sauce, she wanted to try it herself. However, her mother-in-law's cooking was just as delicious as hers even without chili sauce, so she had never tried it at home.
But now, she just wants to try it.
"Then I'll add just a little bit, so it won't be too spicy for you."
Shen Xianjun took a little bit, and just put it on the side.
Qin Nian tried a bite; it was a little spicy, but the sour and spicy flavor was delicious, and she could accept it.
Before Shen Xianjun could make a move, Qin Nian took the chili sauce and added some herself.
"That's too much. Your stomach isn't good, you can't eat that much spicy food."

It was too spicy, so Qin Nian picked up a piece of sugar and mixed it with tomatoes to eat. After it cooled down, she continued eating and unknowingly finished a bowl of noodles.
"Mom's chili sauce is delicious."
Qin Nian took the initiative to wash the dishes after finishing her meal.
"Then I'll ask Mom to make more next time."
Shen Xianjun spoke.
"Let's eat all of this first. It's so far away. Mom has to help take care of the children and do her own things. She's too tired."
Upon hearing this, Shen Xianjun also felt sorry for his mother.
"Okay."
Seeing that Qin Nian could eat again, Shen Xianjun realized he didn't need to cook for her anymore. Even the chili sauce he thought he could keep for himself had become his wife's favorite, and she took it to work with her.
Eating spicy food is like an addiction; the more you eat, the more you like it. You wouldn't realize it until you've tried it.
Qin Nian felt she was being naughty, but she had left half a jar at home and found that Shen Xianjun hadn't touched it. She knew that her husband was intentionally keeping it for her to eat, so she simply brought it to work to save trouble and avoid having to run back and forth at noon.
With her appetite restored, Qin Nian's work efficiency improved dramatically, to the point that everyone was curious about what that magical hot sauce tasted like.
This curiosity reached Shen Xianjun directly.
"Does the old lady have some secret recipe for making chili sauce? Everyone's really curious about it now."
The cafeteria staff came closer to ask.
Shen Xianjun was stunned for a moment upon hearing this. He really didn't know that his mother seemed to cook very casually, but the food she made was always delicious.
"Why don't you ask the old lady? Everyone's not only curious, they're also craving it."
"Is it really worth it for a chili sauce? My mom can make a lot of sauces, and we have quite a few at home."
"Let me try it. Maybe I can make it. That way, everyone can try it and won't be so curious anymore. Besides, this is to help everyone get more into their work. People need to eat, so it's important to eat well. You have no idea how heavy this responsibility is for me."
The cafeteria chef pleaded with Shen Xianjun until he got off work, and then went to Shen Xianjun and his wife's dormitory.
"This lady is amazing! This meat sauce is absolutely delicious when used to sandwich steamed buns or noodles."
