"We can't keep letting wild boars wreak havoc on the experimental fields like this, especially since many of the students are inexperienced. We were lucky today because there were so many of us. Wang Shuo frowned. The reason for slaughtering the pig for a picnic was to appease the students and also to prevent them from impulsively wanting to go into the woods to hunt wild boars. This was a way to divert the students' attention.

"The thermos was empty, so I thought I'd boil some water. Mom, have you eaten yet?"
"I had a picnic with a group of students from the Academy of Agricultural Sciences today. We ate quite a bit. Have you eaten yet? How about I cook you some noodles?"
Yang Yufen lifted the water bottle and realized it was indeed empty. She had rushed out in the morning and had forgotten about it after feeding the chickens.
"I've already eaten."

Yang Yufen took the thermos to the next room, where Aunt Wang was washing her hands.
