In fact, when Feihu saw Jiang Yang for the first time, he rejected him in his heart. He has a skinny little body, with arms and legs that are obviously thin and without much flesh. The only thing that's acceptable about him is his height. But what's the use? A bamboo pole is too short for rowing on the Jiudu River! Later, when his superiors introduced to him that the other party was related to the Li family, he changed his attitude. Isn't this just like an intelligence officer? Even a little weak can understand it.
But now, this weak intelligence officer in his eyes, in the dark, without any auxiliary aiming equipment, killed the sentry on the opposite ship with one knife from a distance of more than ten meters.
Feihu's heart is a bit complicated. Although there is a saying that one should not judge a book by its cover, he still wanted to know how the other party did it. This is different from playing darts. There is no target that big for you to aim at. If you miss the first time, try again. Repeat this experiment over and over again. Killing someone with one strike doesn't even allow you to warn your companions. The requirements are too high. There are only a few fatal spots: the head, throat, or heart. It is not easy to hit any of them under such circumstances.
But now is not the time to ask these questions. The most urgent task is to solve the problem at hand. Thanks to the noise on the ship, the other party did not notice the death of the lookout for the time being, but the cargo ship was gradually moving away. If they did not seize the opportunity and chased after it with the boat, they would be discovered by the other party.
Feihu had a thousand thoughts in his mind, but it only took a moment. He withdrew his thoughts and prepared to make further arrangements. He saw Jiang Yang quickly grabbed a rope, tied something to it, and threw it towards the cargo ship. Then the man grabbed the rope and slid off the boat, falling into the water silently.
The moon emerged from the clouds, and its cool silver light once again filled the earth. When Feihu came to his senses, he could only vaguely see a small black shadow rising and falling on the surface of the river.
"Jiang Yang! Jiang Yang! Come back soon!" he shouted in a low voice.
People have already swam far away, so it is impossible for them to reply.
"Captain, what should we do?" others asked.
"Fuck! This is what happens when you come from a wild background, you have no organization or discipline!" Feihu was so angry that he punched the fence hard. "What can we do? Let's wait and see what happens. Keep a safe distance and follow them. If that doesn't work, we'll make plans later!"
Although this section of Jiudu River is relatively calm, it is not an ordinary pond or river, and it is night, so no one knows what is happening under the water. Another thing is that now we are swimming upstream compared to the past, and it is difficult for people to swim as fast as boats. Under such circumstances, Feihu naturally did not dare to let other team members go into the water to chase.
Jing Ling thought he was a pretty good swimmer, but it was very difficult for him to swim upstream to catch up with a cargo ship that was sailing normally. He might give it a try if he had nothing to do, but now was obviously not the time to play. Fortunately, there was a rope on the fishing boat, and it was long enough. After tying the throwing object prepared early in the morning to it, he threw it to the stern of the cargo ship and successfully wrapped it around the railing. After testing it to make sure it was tight and would not loosen, he went directly into the water.
The water temperature of Jiudu River in late March and early April is barely friendly to the human body. He held on to the rope and kept moving closer to the cargo ship. Soon he reached the side of the ship, grabbed the side of the ship, and climbed up. I had just come out of the water, my whole body was wet, and my clothes were sticking to my body and dripping with water.
As we got closer, we could hear the sounds on the ship more clearly. There was a person begging for mercy, a violent perpetrator, two onlookers, and in addition there were the sounds of several people breathing, who should be the crew members of this ship. A faint smell of blood could be smelled coming from the cabin, and the girl who asked for help was probably seriously injured.
Jing Ling moved over silently with the dagger in hand. The scene inside the room that he saw through the gap in the small window was the same as he had judged.
In the two opposite corners, a scene of violence was taking place. The girl curled up her body, begging for mercy continuously, her voice becoming a little hoarse, while a man was beating her with his fists and feet, uttering obscene words. There was a ball of rope at his feet, and it seemed that he was a hostage who was released by the bandits, not an accomplice. On the other side were crew members with their hands and feet tied, either turning their heads away or lowering their heads, unable to bear to look. As the two bandits in ordinary clothes turned their backs to him, unbridled laughter came through the small window.
These people have too little sense of vigilance.
Jing Ling quietly pushed open the small window, supported himself on the window sill and jumped in, then slashed the other person's neck with his knife. In the blink of an eye, both of them fell to the ground.
The other people in the cabin finally reacted, their eyes filled with surprise.
“Help…Help me…” The girl in the corner saw Jing Ling suddenly appear and reached out her hand to him with difficulty.
Jing Ling raised his index finger to his lips, then pointed upwards, signaling everyone to be quiet. After seeing the crew members in the corner nodding in agreement, he walked a few steps to another corner, grabbed the arm of the man who was about to fall, and with a force, the man's body turned sideways. His profile looked okay, but his hair on his forehead was soaked with sweat and he had a ferocious expression on his face.
“Rubbish.” Jing Ling cursed in a low voice, punched the man in the side of the face, bent his knee and hit the man in the stomach, then retracted his hand and chopped the man’s neck with a knife. The man rolled his eyes and fainted.
"Who's driving the boat up there?" Jing Ling asked in a low voice while holding a dagger and cutting the ropes that bound the hostage's hands and feet.
"They are bandits." A man who looked to be in his thirties or forties replied.
"Who is the captain? Come with me later and follow behind. It's okay to go slowly. I will call you in after I have dealt with those people." As he was speaking, all the hostages on this side had been released, so he stood up and went to the other side to untie the girl.
The word "embarrassed" is not enough to describe the girl's appearance. She looks so miserable. Her face has completely lost its original appearance and her exposed skin is covered with shocking scars.
"Don't be afraid, I will take you to the hospital soon." Jing Ling said gently.
The girl nodded repeatedly and couldn't stop sobbing.
Jing Ling was aware of his own hand strength, so he ignored the three people who had fainted and went straight to the cockpit with the captain. As I said before, this group of people's vigilance was too weak. Jing Ling's men had already entered the cabin, but the other party thought they were their companions and kept asking what was the matter while driving the boat.
He used the same trick again, knocked the man unconscious with a knife, grabbed the collar and dragged him out, while calling the captain in to take over the ship again, and told him to send a signal to the ship behind.
Jiang Yang had been gone for a while, and although there was still no movement on the boat ahead, Feihu couldn't help but worry. He was hesitating whether to take the risk to follow when he saw the signal light of the ship in front suddenly changed, and then the speed of the ship also slowed down. This is unnecessary for the bandits, so it must mean safety.
"Little bastard!" Feihu cursed, but his tone suddenly relaxed. He turned around and shouted, "Speed up and catch up!"
The fishing boat increased its speed to catch up and soon caught up with the cargo ship in front. The team members on the boat jumped over nimbly and entered the cabin in an orderly manner. The first thing they saw was three big men with their hands and feet tied and stacked together against the cabin wall opposite them, followed by the crew members sitting together, and Jiang Yang who was comforting people softly on the other side, and the person under his feet.
"What's going on?" Feihu asked.
"A piece of trash that is more disgusting than a bandit." The other person answered nonchalantly, lowered his head and comforted the girl next to him for a few words, then looked up and said, "Where's Dabao? Bring it over."
Feihu raised his eyebrows, "What's going on?"
"It's just a suspicion, not sure yet."
Feihu stopped asking questions and turned around and yelled, "Sanbing, bring Dabao here!"
"Got it!" The person outside responded and quickly brought Dabao over. After entering the cabin, Dabao rushed directly to Jiang Yang, crawling on his knees and licking his hands with his tongue. He was so enthusiastic. This even scared the girl next to him.
"Okay, be good. Let's play later. Let's go see if there is anything on the boat first." Jiang Yang touched its head. As soon as the word "good" came out of his mouth, it really sat on the ground obediently. After the man finished speaking, it hummed twice and stood up, lowered its head and sniffed the ground. After sniffing the entire cabin and finding nothing, he went straight out.
Feihu asked someone to follow it and circled the ship. Finally, he found something in the corner of the cab - a tightly packed bag. After opening the outer layer, he found another layer of waterproof packaging inside. When he opened it, he could see what was inside.
One bag contained about 1 kilogram of drugs and looked like a sample.
In other words, the group of people who hijacked the ship were not just bandits, but drug dealers!
When Feihu heard Sanbing's report, he was checking the body of the first gangster who was dealt with. The 12cm blade penetrated the solar plexus and pierced the brain, killing the person instantly. This result was more shocking than he had imagined.
When Si Wan, who came with them, saw this, he gasped and exclaimed, "Oh my God! The accuracy is so amazing! I can't tell!" Although he didn't say anything bad during the trip, he looked down on Jiang Yang from the bottom of his heart and always felt that he was a drag on them. Now it seems that they are much more powerful than them.
"Now you've seen that there are people better than you!" Feihu stood up and patted Siwan on the shoulder. "Okay, let's go and see the 'surprise' that Dabao found."
As they were talking, the two were about to go back to the cabin. When they reached the door, they happened to see Jiang Yang coming out with the familiar little bird standing on his shoulder. "There's a boat following behind us, very fast. I wonder if it's coming for the cargo."
