After buying outdoor gear, it was already 4 pm. Another day was almost over. Xia He realized that she hadn't eaten yet, so she drove to a food court. Because there are so many delicious foods in Sichuan, there are food courts everywhere. People in Sichuan are either thinking about what to eat or on their way to find food every day.
Xia He arrived at the food court and started her "eat-and-shop" mode again. Just like before, she ate and took things, secretly stuffing them into her spatial storage. After wandering around the food court for two hours, she drove home. The two little ones were very excited to see Xia He return!
The panda kept jumping around, wanting Xia He to hold it. After resting at home for a day, the panda's spirits were obviously much better. When it saw Xia He come back, it even barked loudly. Xia He thought to herself, this is not a good habit. So before feeding Tangyuan and the panda, Xia He gave the two little ones a lesson.
Because Tangyuan had been trained by Xiahe when he was young, he responded quickly to all of Xiahe's commands. In contrast, the panda, due to long-term poor development and Chuzhi's indifference, appeared clumsy and looked at Xiahe and Tangyuan with puzzled eyes. Tangyuan, in turn, looked at the panda with the eyes of someone looking at an idiot.
The panda thought to itself, "Mom, don't you love me anymore? Am I not your little darling anymore?" Xia He didn't expect the panda to learn so quickly, since there was plenty of time. So today, Xia He simply taught the panda the most basic things: sit down and shake hands. Xia He held snacks in one hand and touched the panda's back with the other, indicating that the panda should sit down.
Xia He had never watched how others trained dogs; she had always learned by trial and error. She thought that her own pet's habits were different from others', so she never watched any instructional videos and just figured it out herself. Xia He used treats as bait, luring the panda's appetite with one hand while gently pressing the panda's back with the other, and simultaneously giving the "sit" command.
However, no matter what, the panda didn't understand what Xiahe meant until Xiahe gestured for Tangyuan to come over. After Xiahe gave the command to "sit down," Tangyuan did so and was rewarded with a piece of beef. The panda seemed to understand something when it saw Tangyuan. So when Xiahe tried to give the panda the command to sit down a second time, the panda quickly responded. Xiahe happily patted the panda's head and praised the panda for being so smart.
The panda showed a smug expression, and then began to teach how to shake hands. At first, the panda still didn't understand Xia He's meaning, just like before. Even after Tang Yuan demonstrated it, the panda still didn't know how to shake hands. It went on and on for several times until Tang Yuan got tired and couldn't demonstrate anymore. So Tang Yuan raised its paw and hit the panda on the head. The panda whimpered in pain, and then made the correct response.
Judging from this, the panda wasn't unaware; in fact, it was being mischievous! Xia He then continued training the panda to sit and shake hands, but this time there were no treats as rewards, only verbal commands. Gradually, the panda lost interest, stubbornly turning its head to one side, thinking, "The food ticket is so mean! It keeps making me sit and shake hands, my paws are getting sore from holding it up, and it still doesn't give me a treat! Humph! If I don't get a treat, I'm going on strike! I'm not doing this anymore!"
Xia He, seeing the stubborn panda, had no choice but to think that the panda was still a puppy and was probably just tired. She then prepared a lavish dinner for the two little ones: chicken breast and canned salmon, plus a freeze-dried beef biscuit as a main dish, sprinkled with cranberry powder, soaked in goat milk, and some dried vegetables. Looking at this dog food, Xia He thought, "I can't feed the two pandas canned food every day. I'll have to make some dog food myself; it's healthier that way!"
After the two little ones finished eating, Xiahe took them to a pet-friendly supermarket. After putting them in a pet-specific shopping cart, she began her big shopping spree at the supermarket!
