Chapter 175 Spirit Beasts

Xiahe and Xiaohua rushed to Tangyuan, a wave of anxiety washing over them. Tangyuan's convulsions and painful cries left them feeling helpless, unsure how to help the little one.

Tangyuan's body writhed in painful spasms, its once round shape becoming abnormally contorted. Xiahe reached out, wanting to stroke Tangyuan's head to soothe its unease, but as soon as she touched Tangyuan's body, she felt a powerful yet unstable energy.

Xiaohua said nervously, "Xiahe, the mutation of Tangyuan seems to be more intense. We must be careful, as we don't know what kind of changes it will undergo."

Xia He nodded; she too sensed this unusual energy. Compared to the panda's mutation, Tangyuan's situation seemed more complex. She realized that this mutation might not be as stable as before, but rather carried some unknown factors.

Tangyuan's painful screams continued for a while, then suddenly stopped. Xiahe and Xiaohua waited anxiously, trying to figure out what was wrong with Tangyuan.

Tangyuan's body began to lengthen, its originally round shape seemingly being drawn by a mysterious force. Its surface began to shimmer with a faint silver light, like a star quietly rising in the night sky.

The convulsions became more intense, and Xia He and Xiao Hua could almost feel an invisible pressure in the air, as if the entire space was responding to Tang Yuan's changes.

Suddenly, a blinding, silvery-white light burst forth from Tangyuan's body, dazzling and radiant. The light filled the air, illuminating the entire room. Xiahe and Xiaohua quickly closed their eyes to avoid being harmed by the blinding light.

As time passed, the light in the room gradually dimmed, and Xia He and Xiao Hua slowly opened their eyes. The scene before them was unbelievable.

Tangyuan's body became more slender, its once plump and white frame transformed into a delicate yet powerful one. Its fur regrowed, displaying a magnificent silvery-white hue, flowing like silver water. Tangyuan's previously adorable appearance transformed into one of mystery and nobility.

Tangyuan's eyes gleamed with wisdom, as if it had received some kind of enlightenment. Throughout the entire mutation process, its expression maintained a solemn and sacred air.

Xia He and Xiao Hua were astonished. This was not a simple mutation, but a complete awakening. Tangyuan was no longer the innocent pet it once was, but a being with mysterious powers.

Xia He and Xiao Hua stood there stunned, completely unprepared for the once chubby glutinous rice ball to have turned out like this.

Xiao Hua said, "This aura...it's the aura of a spirit beast."

"You mean, Tangyuan has mutated into a spirit beast?"

Xiao Hua said, "That's right, this aura is that of a spirit beast."

Tangyuan's fur was still curly, and its body hadn't grown much larger. A faint silver light shone on its fur, giving it an elegant appearance. Tangyuan's open eyes were light blue, making it look like a noble beast.

This mutation not only changed the appearance of the glutinous rice ball, but also endowed it with an indescribable power.

The panda looked at Tangyuan with an incredulous expression and said to Xiaohua, "Xiaohua, is this still my mom?"

Xiaohua thought the panda was even sillier now.

Tangyuan walked towards Xiahe, the cold expression in her clear eyes fading, replaced by cute and innocent big eyes, and she snuggled into Xiahe's arms, acting coquettishly.
