Xia He gritted her teeth, realizing the situation was becoming increasingly dire. She brandished her Green Dragon Crescent Blade, transforming flames into a curtain of fire to try and stop the oncoming zombies. At the same time, she constantly scanned her surroundings, trying to spot the mysterious man.
"Xiao Lin, be careful! He might appear at any moment," Xia He whispered a warning, nimbly dodging an attack from a zombie.
Xiao Lin nodded upon hearing this, and his spiritual energy surged. He released a powerful light in the laboratory, repelling some of the zombies. However, the plants grew too quickly and soon filled the gaps again.
Suddenly, a strange sound came from the laboratory, and the ground trembled. Xia He and Xiao Lin exchanged a glance, both feeling a powerful energy fluctuation.
Just then, the ground cracked open, and a huge plant tentacle shot out. Standing on the plant tentacle was a mysterious man, whose plant patterns were now even more pronounced, as if he had become part of the plant.
"Hahaha, do you think you can hide?" The mysterious man laughed wildly, and plant tentacles attacked Xia He and Xiao Lin.
Xia He and Xiao Lin's hearts sank; they were now surrounded by the mysterious man. This time, they would face an even more powerful and crazed enemy.
Faced with the mysterious man's powerful offensive, Xia He and Xiao Lin felt unprecedented pressure. The mysterious man's plant tentacles attacked violently like giant pythons, leaving the two of them with almost no way to dodge.
Xia He brandished her Green Dragon Crescent Blade, flames erupting as she attempted to repel the plant tentacles. Xiao Lin, on the other hand, unleashed powerful spiritual energy, forming a barrier of light to try and withstand the mysterious man's attacks. However, the mysterious man's power grew ever stronger; his plant energy surged forth like an endless tide.
"You will never escape my control!" The mysterious man's voice was filled with fanaticism and cunning.
Xia He and Xiao Lin worked in perfect harmony, their figures darting through the laboratory, trying to find an opportunity to escape the mysterious man's encirclement. However, the mysterious man seemed to be everywhere, appearing and disappearing intermittently, making him elusive to the two.
