Time passed by unnoticed during the few days Xia He stayed at home and diligently cultivated, until Xiao Lin knocked on Xia He's door, "Xia He, Xia He."
Xia He slowly came out of the room. Usually, when Xiao Lin knocked on the door, it was never anything easy. "Why can't I just enjoy a few more days of a carefree, laid-back life?" Xia He thought to herself.
However, the speed at which he opened the door was by no means slow.
"Xia He, have you missed me?" Xiao Lin asked Xia He with a faint smile on his face.
"Do you want to tell the truth? No." Xia He spoke coldly and indifferently. The smile on Xiao Lin's face vanished instantly, and in a flash, he flipped Xia He over and pinned her against the wall, showering her with kisses. After a long while, Xiao Lin asked, "And now? Have you missed me even a little bit?"
A blush appeared on Xia He's face. She pushed Xiao Lin away and let out a faint hum from her nose.
Seeing this, Xiao Lin stopped teasing Xia He and quickly said, "Professor Fu said that the little boy we brought back has woken up."
Xia He hurriedly said, "Then let's go take a look!" After saying that, she called the two little ones and went out.
