Explosions, bursts of spiritual energy, and the howls of zombies mingled together, creating a breathtaking battle. Xia He's figure nimbly darted across the battlefield, each swing of her Green Dragon Crescent Blade sending a spray of blood down her spine. However, her depletion of spiritual energy left her feeling powerless.
Xia He's spiritual power had not yet recovered, and the spiritual power that Xiao Lin had just transferred was almost completely exhausted. "My spiritual power is still not enough!" Xia He thought to herself.
Xia He, her face pale and covered in cold sweat, retreated inside the defensive wall.
The moment my feet touched the ground, I felt a wave of dizziness.
Xiao Lin arrived just then and quickly caught Xia He, who was about to faint.
"Why did you come out!" Xiao Lin said, but he knew in his heart that Xia He would definitely come out to join the battle. Xiao Lin knew that he could not stop Xia He.
"I'm fine now," Xia He said.
"Boss, none of the helicopters in the base are working right now," Hai Dong said.
"We can only stand on the defensive wall to fight off the zombies," Ling Feng continued.
"Attack with all your might to hold off the zombies," Xiao Lin ordered.
The zombie horde surged toward the defensive wall, their heart-wrenching roars echoing through the night. In the dim light, countless filthy, grotesque zombies, their mutilated bodies twisted, seemed to leap and dance in terror.
On the defensive wall, Xia He, Xiao Lin, and their teammates stared ahead. Each violent slam of a zombie caused the wall to creak and groan. The screams of the zombies mingled with the night wind, creating an eerie symphony.
"Should we use the same trick as last time?" Xia He asked Xiao Lin.
"No, your spiritual power hasn't recovered yet, you can't hold on at all!" Xiao Lin knew that Xia He meant to burn the zombies around the defensive wall.
However, before Xia He and Xiao Lin could reach a conclusion, a gigantic zombie monster charged towards the defensive wall. It was tall and muscular, its sharp claws slicing through the air with a piercing whistling sound. The team members raised their weapons, but even their fiercest attacks could hardly inflict any serious damage on this behemoth.
The enormous zombie monster was tall and muscular, its size several times that of an ordinary zombie. Its rotting skin was covered with black, patchy bloodstains, like the marks of death. Its dull eyes held no life. A head of jet-black hair hung haphazardly down its back, like a chaotic, dark cloud.
The zombie monster's arms were unusually developed, strong and powerful, with sharp claws at the tips of its fingers, each claw gleaming coldly, like a weapon ready to tear everything apart. Its face was twisted and deformed, and when its mouth opened, it revealed sharp canines, emitting a bloody stench.
The muscles and blood vessels of its body twisted and writh in a chilling way, as if its flesh were constantly expanding and contracting. Although it looked clumsy, each of its movements carried an irresistible force.
This enormous zombie monster seemed to be a demon from the depths of hell, exuding a chilling aura, and its presence threatened all life present.
The zombie monster rushed toward the defensive wall. Its appearance put immense pressure on Xia He, Xiao Lin, and the others, as if they were facing an invincible nightmare.
The team members were filled with fear and unease as they faced the enormous zombie monster. Although everyone tried their best to remain calm, the appearance of that behemoth made them tremble.
“The zombies have evolved.” Xia He looked at Xiao Lin seriously.
Xia He gritted her teeth; she could feel her body trembling. She had faced countless zombies before, but the pressure from this enormous zombie monster far exceeded her previous experience. She took a deep breath, trying her best to suppress her panic. Her teammates, fighting alongside her, also showed signs of anxiety and unease.
Xiao Lin's furrowed brows revealed his anxiety about the situation. He was well aware of Xia He's current state and knew that facing this behemoth was an extremely dangerous battle. However, he could not let fear control his thoughts; he had to remain calm and find a way to deal with it.
Although Hai Dong and Ling Feng looked tense, they were still doing their best to deal with the situation. They continued to coordinate with Xia He and Xiao Lin, trying to concentrate their firepower on the giant zombie monster. However, their weapons seemed to only leave some minor wounds on the zombie monster.
The appearance of the zombie monsters intensified the tension on the battlefield. As they drew closer to the defensive wall, the pressure mounted, and their attacks proved almost entirely ineffective. Each time a zombie swung its claws, the defensive wall trembled precariously, as if it would be torn apart at any moment.
Just then, Xiao Lin said to Xia He, "Xia He, lend me your Green Dragon Crescent Blade."
Without hesitation, Xia He handed her knife to Xiao Lin.
Using the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, Xiao Lin activated his flight technique and soared into the air, charging towards the enormous zombie monster. His figure streaked across the night sky like a streak of light, rapidly approaching the behemoth.
Xia He watched Xiao Lin's actions nervously, feeling anxious and uneasy.
As Xiao Lin approached the zombie monster, he suddenly stopped in mid-air. He brandished Xia He's Green Dragon Crescent Blade, which transformed into a dazzling light, and a powerful spiritual force instantly condensed on the blade.
The blade was crackling with lightning. Xiao Lin roared and the blade slashed down like lightning, gathering powerful spiritual energy and crackling with lightning. It carried astonishing energy and went straight for the zombie monster's body.
The zombie monster sensed the immense threat emanating from the blade and tried to dodge, but in a moment of hesitation, it failed to completely avoid it.
