"The situation is not optimistic. The base was just hit by an earthquake. Many lines were broken, and metal pieces fell off. Along the way, Xia He sensed the anxious and tense atmosphere among the people coming and going in the base. People were running in different directions, constantly muttering, "Snakes! Snakes! Lots of snakes!"
Xia He also noticed many small snakes scurrying around the base. Seeing that these snakes were not venomous, Xia He handed them over to the staff to deal with.
Xia He quickened her pace and arrived at the defensive wall. She saw a large number of snakes wriggling around the base. Some were huge and ferocious, while others darted quickly across the ground. The number and diversity of these snakes far exceeded her expectations.
"Haidong, how did these snakes suddenly appear? How did they infiltrate the base?" Xia He asked.

"Everyone, retreat!" Xia He shouted, wielding her Green Dragon Crescent Blade and slashing at the python! But their sheer number and ferocity made it difficult for them to cope!
The pythons that attacked were mutated pythons, which are huge, fierce and venomous. They look very similar to traditional pythons, but are several times larger than ordinary snakes, some even comparable in size to small cars.
Furthermore, these pythons are muscular, long and straight, with sharp and ferocious eyes. Their skin is covered with thick scales that shimmer with a deep silver-gray and black luster. Their heads are exceptionally large, their teeth are as sharp as knives, and when their mouths are open, they seem capable of easily swallowing an entire adult human!
And that was indeed the case; Xia He watched helplessly as a python swallowed a grown man whole! She was too late to stop it!
Moreover, the skin of these pythons is covered with patterns that resemble undulating water ripples, making one think of the deep ocean.
The violent jet of water spewed from the python's mouth instantly formed a torrent.
Xia He had no time to think and could only keep wielding her Green Dragon Crescent Blade to stop the python from crossing the defensive wall.
The small snake soldiers charged forward, breaking through the base's interior, while the python army directly attacked the city from behind. It seems that the mutated pythons' attack is quite organized.
Xia He dared not underestimate her opponent. Xiao Lin had not yet woken up, and Xia He was the only one in the entire base with decent strength. Although the current superhumans had some combat abilities, they were still too weak. The speed of human evolution was far slower than the speed of animal mutation.
