Time passed slowly as Xia He cultivated at her own pace. A week later, Xiao Lin told Xia He that Chu Zhi and Zhao Gang were preparing to join the scavenging team the next day.
Xia He then paused her cultivation for the day to prepare for her outing tomorrow, and told Xiao Lin that she was also going to scavenge.

Chu Zhi fell to the ground with a scream. Zhao Gang came over when he heard the noise and saw Xia He. When he saw Xia He's face and then Chu Zhi lying on the ground looking ugly, he didn't even think of helping Chu Zhi. Instead, he said to Xia He, "Xia He, what trouble has Chu Zhi caused this time? It must be this bitch who caused the trouble."
After saying that, Zhao Gang also kicked Chu Zhi.
