The bright light emanating from Xia He continued to spread, condensing into a solid shield of light that firmly blocked the dark energy, attempting to suppress it.

As Xia He rapidly formed hand seals, halos of light continuously emanated from her body, eventually heading straight for a dark corner within the service hall.
With a roar and scream, a figure appeared in the dark corner, and the surrounding dark energy dissipated.
"That's all. I thought you were much stronger," Xia He said dismissively.
"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible! No one has ever been able to defeat me!" The darkness receded, and a man with long black hair appeared in the corner, dressed entirely in black, as if trying to hide in the darkness!
"That's because you haven't met me before!" Xia He said domineeringly.
The long-haired black man's eyes were wide open in anger, and he exuded an eerie dark aura. Every word he uttered was filled with arrogance and disdain.
"How could you mortals possibly withstand me?"
Xia He smiled gently, "A mortal? Oh? And you are?"
The man in black laughed arrogantly, "I am the son of darkness!"
"Hahahaha." The man in black was met with a merciless laugh. "What kind of chuunibyou are you? Child of Darkness, you're just a dark power user. You really think you're so great! Those two guards at the door are your dark energy, aren't they? What base? It's all just your imagination." Xia He pointed it all out mercilessly.
"So what if you are? You're all in here now. Since you're in, don't even think about running away!" the man in black shouted angrily. Then, many black cats emerged from the corner!
