Liang Mei looked at Liang Fu thoughtfully, "What kind of look is that?"
Liang Fu fidgeted and said shyly, "Oh, it's just that kind of look!"
Having been in relationships and married before, Liang Mei immediately saw through Liang Fu's thoughts. "Could it be that someone is interested in you?"
Upon hearing this, Liang Fu was immediately taken aback and hurriedly waved her hands, "No, no, I can't be sure yet. Maybe I'm just too narcissistic."
Looking at Liang Fu, who was blushing, Liang Mei wanted to tease her, "Then tell me, what kind of look was that?"
Liang Fu couldn't explain it clearly, so she could only demonstrate it to Liang Mei, showing the way Su Ning looked at him that day.
"It's obvious he's interested in Xiao Fu!" Liang Mei thought to himself, but he didn't directly ask Liang Fu what her attitude towards him was.
"I'm not sure what he thinks of you, but what do you think of him?" Liang Mei looked at Liang Fu with a smile.
"I...I..." Liang Fu was too embarrassed to say that she actually had feelings for Lin Shansheng, but not for Su Ning.
However, she still wanted to find out the truth. If Su Ning really had feelings for her, she wanted to make things clear to him as soon as possible so as not to delay him.
"Actually, I'm not interested in that person..." Liang Fu said softly, lowering her head.
Liang Mei was very surprised. She thought that Liang Fu and the other person were in love, which was why she asked that question.
"So you're afraid that someone might be interested in you, and you're going to reject them?" Liang Mei asked.
Liang Fu nodded. "Sister, I really don't want to be an immoral person."
Liang Mei understood her younger sister, so she supported her: "I understand what you mean. That person is indeed interested in you. If you don't want to, you should make it clear to him as soon as possible."
After learning about it, Liang Fu decided to find a time to talk to Su Ning.
Lin Chaosheng has now gone up the mountain. He summoned Feifei and asked her to lead him on a new route.
After receiving the instructions, Feifei turned around and led him towards the mountains to the south.
"This is completely the opposite direction. Could there be more good stuff over there?" As Lin Chaosheng walked, he realized that this was a completely unfamiliar road and felt cheated. He blamed himself for not having Feifei lead him to a new route sooner.
After walking for a while, Lin Chaosheng saw a rabbit dart out. He picked up his bow and arrow and shot, hitting the rabbit right in the center.
"That's strange, why did this rabbit run out in the wrong direction?" Lin Chaosheng picked up the rabbit while looking for its burrow, but he couldn't find it no matter how hard he looked.
Lin Chaosheng figured the rabbits had probably run out to forage for food, so their burrows weren't nearby. He didn't think much of it and continued walking in other directions.
But after walking for a short while, another pheasant ran out from afar.
Lin Chaosheng was surprised for a moment, but he quickly picked up his bow and arrow and shot. "This is really strange. Why are they all running from the same direction?"
Lin Chaosheng quickly sent Feifei ahead to scout the way, while he continued searching for prey.
A moment later, he suddenly saw a small sparrow pecking at something on the ground. Lin Chaosheng quickly stopped, afraid of scaring the sparrow away, and then raised his bow and arrow to aim.
With a "whoosh," he hit the sparrow right in the center again. Just as he was happily stuffing the sparrow into the frame, Fatty suddenly ran over, chirping anxiously.
"What's wrong?" Lin Chaosheng and Feifei sensed something.
The chubby creature responded with a squeaky sound, leaving Lin Chaosheng speechless with shock.
"There's a bunch of prey near that cave over there?!" Lin Chaosheng shouted.
Then he ran quickly towards the cave and hid behind a clump of grass near the cave.
Then, Lin Chaosheng cautiously raised his head and peered into the cave, where dozens of animals were going in and out.
Lin Chaosheng was stunned by this scene. He had only ever seen dozens of fish before, never dozens of land animals!
What on earth is going on? How can there be so many animals? The environment here can only be described as desolate, yet there are even more animals here than on the mountains where we used to hunt!
He hurriedly asked Feifei what had happened, but Feifei looked completely bewildered.
So he planned to lie in ambush nearby and wait for the animals to disperse before going into the cave to investigate.
Herds of animals came out, including rabbits, roe deer, pheasants... and even a bear ran in and came out again.
Lin Chaosheng carefully observed the animals' expressions. They all seemed to have gone in listlessly, and then came out excitedly, each with a round belly.
Could there be something delicious inside? Or is there something in there that would make these animals eat like this?
Lin Chaosheng thought about it for a long time but couldn't come to a conclusion. He could only anxiously hide behind the bushes and wait until Feifei fell asleep.
Finally, he saw several large bears go in and come out, and then no more animals came. However, he cautiously waited for another ten minutes before waking up Fatty and quietly going into the cave.
Lin Chaosheng stood at the dark entrance of the cave, hesitating whether to go in. He was actually a little afraid that there might be some kind of mountain god inside, or some other scary thing.
But then he thought, after all, fortune favors the bold. What if there really were some good things inside that could help him and his family get through this famine? He would make a fortune.
So he tightened his grip on the machete, raised the bow and arrows on his back, took a deep breath, and walked into the black hole.
But Fatty suddenly bit his trouser leg. "Master, why don't you light a fire inside? It's too dark in here. What if something unexpected happens?"
Lin Chaosheng thought to himself that it made sense. What if there were some kind of trap or mechanism suddenly appearing? He wouldn't even have time to defend himself. He didn't want to end up like that as soon as he went in...
So he gathered some dry grass and twigs, carefully selected a thick and long tree trunk, took out a match from his pocket, and threw it at the pile of dry grass.
The flames quickly grew stronger, and he picked up the tree trunk and held it up to the fire, instantly obtaining a very reliable torch.
“Let’s go,” Lin Chaosheng took a few deep breaths, “Let’s go see what’s inside and what things are there.”
Then, he and Feifei went into the cave, which looked as if it had swallowed them up from a distance.
Fortunately, with the help of torches, Lin Chaosheng did not find the road too difficult to walk. They walked slowly, paying attention to the path under their feet.
