Chapter 31: Spy Organization

While the soldiers on the European battlefield were fighting in the ice and snow, Brazil, located in the southern hemisphere, welcomed a drizzle at night after a sultry day. On the dim streets, several police cars stopped at the same time at several intersections, and a group of fully armed policemen filed out and surrounded the street.

"I emphasize again, this time we are facing Japanese spies who have stolen our important intelligence. There are many of them, so I ask you to catch them all in one fell swoop. No one can escape. If any spy escapes from your defense zone, I will arrest you and bring you to a military court for espionage. Do you understand?" Director Hodges' voice came under the dim street lights.

"Understood, sir!" Everyone responded in unison.

"Okay then, the commandos will give you five more minutes to prepare. In five minutes, the attack will officially begin. The rest of you, please guard your own defense areas and prevent the spies from escaping." Director Hodges waved his hand and asked everyone to disperse and begin to carry out their respective mission objectives.

After everyone had dispersed, Chief Hodges' secretary quietly stood behind the chief and said, "Mr. Chief, do we really want to eliminate these Japanese? They pay a lot of tribute every month!"

"Which is more important, money or brains? If the Japanese die, we can just find another force to support us, and we won't lose our benefits. But if the Japanese don't die this time, we will die, do you understand?" Director Hodges glanced at his secretary and whispered. He couldn't help but think that it seemed that his secretary was very close to the Japanese! It seemed that he had received a lot of benefits from the Japanese.

"I understand, sir. I'll go down and prepare as well." The secretary whispered.

"Well, go down!" I couldn't help but feel funny in my heart. You are just a secretary and you won't rush to the front line. What can you prepare?

Time was passing by, and the police commandos were checking their equipment one last time. However, the Japanese community surrounded by the police was quiet, and everyone had fallen asleep peacefully.

...

...

Suddenly, a telephone rang in the room of the head of the Black Dragon Society's Brazilian branch, waking up Kato Yingyi from his sweet dream. He moved away the two white arms pressing on him, picked up the phone and was about to curse when he heard a hurried Portuguese voice coming from the phone: "Something happened. The police have surrounded you. They will start a violent attack in five minutes."

Without waiting for Kato Yingyi to speak, the call was hung up. Kato Yingyi swallowed his dirty words alive, and cold sweat covered his whole body. He no longer cared about the two women holding him, jumped up from the bed, grabbed the pistol on the table, ran out of the door, and shouted to the outside: "Everyone get up, take your weapons, enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

After shouting, they went to knock on the doors of the rooms next to them. Some dishevelled men with weapons in their hands rushed out of the rooms next to them one after another, looking at their curator with a blank face.

"Ono, go and destroy our information. Yoshikawa, go and organize everyone to get the rifles. Miyamoto, go and hide our radio. Everyone take up their weapons and prepare for battle." Kato Toichi gave orders in an orderly manner, and soon the lights in the hall began to light up, and it became crowded.

When the lights on the police car at the intersection came on, Chief Hodges' heart skipped a beat and he shouted "Oh no!" He immediately shouted to the commando who was looking at him, "Action! Action! Quick! Quick!"

I didn't expect the Japanese to get the news at this time. It seems that someone in the police station tipped off the police. I couldn't help but curse in my heart, but cursing was useless now. The most important thing was to seize the time to break through the Japanese base camp.

Soon, there was a sound of gunfire coming from the front, and the whole street became lively in an instant. The lights in the houses of the residents next to it were constantly lit up. If there was an old soldier here, he would definitely sigh that a peaceful environment is still good! So many people dared to turn on the lights after the gunfire. Aren't they afraid of becoming a target of attack?

The sneak attack became a sudden attack, and the difficulty of the battle was definitely increased exponentially. Therefore, the police commandos were in a tough battle from the beginning. After all, Brazil, like the United States, did not ban guns, so the Black Dragon Society had no fewer weapons than the police. The two sides fought hard and soon both sides began to suffer casualties.

Chief Hodges was furious. In the afternoon, he vowed to Captain Blackwell that he would let him see his attitude. However, the current situation was a slap in the face of Chief Hodges. How embarrassed was the chief? Didn't he have any face left?

"Everyone, go up and reinforce. We must wipe out the Black Dragon Society today." The Director also became ruthless and mobilized all the police officers surrounding the outer perimeter to start besieging the Black Dragon Society's headquarters.

Soon the advantage in numbers began to show, and the Black Dragon Society's casualties began to increase, with people falling down one after another. The police began to gain the upper hand, but at the same time, the police also suffered heavy casualties, and at one point some police officers even wanted to retreat. The supervision team arranged by Chief Hodges pushed back with guns.

However, the duration of this battle obviously exceeded Chief Hodges's expectations. The operation, which was originally planned to be completed within two hours, did not subside until daybreak.

When Chief Hodges walked into the Japanese-style building, he saw corpses lying all over the place, some Japanese and some policemen. Chief Hodges' eyes twitched. It seemed that he would be punished. It would be best if he could find evidence that these Japanese were spies, otherwise it would be difficult to explain.

"Report, Mr. Chief, two core members of the Black Dragon Society are missing! They are missing, alive or dead, and they may have escaped." A policeman came to the chief and reported.

"What? With so many people surrounding them, some people still escape. What rubbish! Issue a city-wide wanted notice for them immediately. Search all of them carefully, leaving no corner unsearched. I need to find the intelligence stolen by these Japanese spies." Chief Hodges was so angry that he was shaking all over and kicked over a low table in front of him.

I couldn't help but think that I had to hurry up and fabricate a piece of intelligence as evidence of the search.

All the policemen were furious. They didn't expect these Japanese to be so cruel that they dared to engage in such a fierce battle with the fully armed police. They believed from the bottom of their hearts that these Japanese were really engaged in espionage. If you are not a spy, how could you engage in such a fierce battle with the police?

Everyone responded in unison: "Yes!"

It is difficult to be too serious when doing things. Once you become serious, sometimes even people who have nothing to do can find problems for you, not to mention that these Japanese already have problems.

Sure enough, the police soon discovered that among the documents that had not been completely burned, there were information about the transfer of Brazilian troops and even about the four transport ships that had just arrived at the Port of Rio from Italy.

Someone else discovered a hidden military high-power telegraph, and even found a naval defense map along the coast of Brazil in the president's office.

This shocked Chief Hodges, who was preparing to fabricate a piece of false intelligence, so much that his jaw almost dropped to the ground. It seemed that he had to hurry back to clean up the mess between the Japanese and himself. Otherwise, if he was found to have accepted benefits from the Japanese, he would be in big trouble.

Since he could find so much real information directly in the Japanese club, his actions this time would become reasonable and legal. No matter where he was asked, he would have no faults. Although a large number of police officers were killed or injured during the attack, it could not be blamed on him!

This must be the information that an insider in the spy organization passed on to them that they were about to launch an attack. They must hurry up and catch the spy in the police station. This will also be a credit to them!

As for the two escaped spy organization leaders, he had to launch a large-scale manhunt throughout the city. He couldn't let these two bastards get away. If they got away, this operation would basically be considered a failure. How could he claim credit?

And for the current Japanese community, police must be sent to place everyone under house arrest. He doesn't know how many people in there are working for the spy organization.
