Chapter 532 Conflict

Because he was going to attend Audrey Hepburn's first Royal Opera House ballet performance in the evening, Fang Lang ended the new car testing trip early.

After returning home, I changed into a nice suit and took a car directly to the Royal Opera House.

Because the environment of the Royal Opera House was not convenient for Fang Lang to lead a large number of guards, he could only let the guards protect from a distance.

The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, located on London's Arch Street, looks magnificent under the lights. This classical building, which was built in 1732, has six huge marble Roman columns outside, which looks very impressive.

By the time he drove to the opera house, it was already completely dark. Cars kept stopping on the road outside the opera house, dropping off well-dressed gentlemen and ladies.

Because opera in this era was still a hobby of the nobility and was not open to the common people, most of the people who came here to watch the performances were prominent nobles or big businessmen.

This adds to the opera house's class. Even the waiters checking tickets at the door are dressed in suits and ties, like gentlemen.

Seeing this, Fang Lang just smiled slightly, and before he could push the door and get out, a waiter came forward and opened the door for him. Fang Lang didn't expect that the opera house now has such a good sense of service.

He smiled and nodded at the other person, ready to give him a tip.

...

...

But when the other party saw Fang Lang getting off the car, he was obviously stunned. His face, which was full of attentiveness just now, suddenly became gloomy.

Without waiting for Fang Lang to take out cash to reward him, this British gentleman who looked to be in his thirties spoke directly without any hesitation:

"Hey! Yellow Monkey, are you in the wrong place?"

Fang Lang, who was admiring the other party's good service awareness, was stunned when he heard the words, and his face instantly turned gloomy. It had been a long time since he encountered racial discrimination.

I thought racial discrimination no longer existed! Now it seems that I was too naive!

With his current identity and status, he would not tolerate such a person. Without thinking, he gave the other person a big slap, leaving a clear slap mark on the guy's left cheek.

"I'll give you a chance to reframe your words."

This arrogant white man obviously did not expect that the lowly people in his eyes would dare to attack him. This is really intolerable!

The other party even said something like give him a chance to reorganize his words. Do I need you to give me a chance? Without even thinking, he stretched out his hand to fight back.

But who is Fang Lang? Not to mention that he has martial arts skills, even as a professional soldier who has been on the battlefield, how could he give the other party a chance to hurt him?

He instantly raised his left hand to block the opponent's right arm that was about to slap him. At the same time, he extended his right fist and hit the opponent's abdomen hard, knocking him two meters away.

The commotion here naturally attracted the attention of the people around, and the first to react was Fang Lang's driver. Originally, according to Fang Lang's order, he was going to drive the car away and find a place to park after sending Fang Lang to the destination.

After all, there is no parking lot here.

But the boss was discriminated against by the person who opened the door as soon as he got out of the car. Who could stand this? So he immediately stopped the action of starting the car.

He pulled the handbrake, pushed the door, got out of the car, and walked around the front of the car to the back of the other person. However, as soon as he got around the front of the car, he saw the other person fall directly in front of him.

How could he miss the opportunity to perform that was right in front of him?

He was a veteran who had participated in World War II, a tough guy who believed in killing with his fists. So, before the guy lying on the ground could react, he kicked him in the head with his big leather shoes.

The other party had just covered his stomach and tried to stand up when he was hit hard on the head. His eyes went dark and he lost consciousness.

This situation immediately caused an uproar among the people around. Other British gentlemen and opera house staff gathered around them, surrounded the few people and began to accuse them.

Fang Lang's driver was a white veteran, tall and strong. He didn't care who these well-dressed gentlemen were. As long as they threatened his boss's safety, he would shoot them.

So, when he saw so many people surrounding him, he took out his service pistol from the holster under his ribs without hesitation, pointed it at the people around him, shouted at them loudly, and drove them away.

These gentlemen came to watch the opera and of course did not carry weapons with them, so when they saw someone pull out a pistol, they were shocked and hesitated, not daring to step forward for a moment.

But in order to maintain their dignity, they would not retreat directly, so they all stopped where they were and pointed at Fang Lang.

Fang Lang was very clear about the characters of these rough guys under his command. If anyone did anything extreme, he would shoot without hesitation.

If this is the case, things might get a little troublesome.

He also noticed that the guards had gathered around and were mixed in with the crowd, with several of them trying desperately to squeeze forward to get in.

Seeing this, Fang Lang calmly waved at the guards who were pushing in.

His intuition was very accurate and he could easily sense that this incident was just an accident. There was no danger around and he did not want to make too big a deal of it.

After all, this was Audrey Hepburn's first performance at the Royal Opera House, and if something big happened, the performance would be ruined.

When the guards saw Fang Lang's gesture, they decisively stopped moving forward and blended into the crowd, vigilantly observing the people around them.

Although he was surrounded by a crowd, Fang Lang appeared very calm and said to his driver calmly:

"Jason, put the gun away! These people are not a threat."

"Yes, boss!"

The driver was tense and didn't understand what was going on, but he still obeyed and put the gun back into the holster. But he still looked fiercely at the British gentlemen around him.

Fang Lang stepped forward and patted Jason on the shoulder, motioning him to step back and stand behind him. He then stepped forward and stood in front of the waiter who had fallen to the ground.

As luck would have it, his leather shoes accidentally stepped on the waiter's fingers. But Fang Lang looked up at the well-dressed British gentlemen around him as if he hadn't noticed.

He slowly said:

"Okay, gentlemen, please don't accuse others without understanding the whole story."

If Fang Lang was the only one here, the people around him might have stepped forward and shouted at him, but Jason's performance made everyone understand that the Asian man in front of them was not an ordinary person.

This white man named Jason was obviously the bodyguard of the Asian man, and he acted like he was obedient to him. No one would be stupid enough to rush up and argue with Fang Lang.

After hearing Fang Lang's words, a short and strong white man who looked to be at least fifty years old walked out of the crowd with a walking stick and nodded to Fang Lang, saying:

"Sir, no matter what happened, you and your bodyguard should not beat others like this."

Fang Lang didn't want to say anything more to this kind of person who always stood on the moral high ground to accuse others, but looking at the eyes of the people around him, he also understood that if he didn't respond, it might make the people around him even more dissatisfied.

So, he suppressed his anger and looked up at the white old man.

"You mean, even if the other party insults you, you should choose to tolerate it, right?"

Upon hearing this, the white old man frowned slightly, a hint of barely perceptible disgust flashed across his eyes, and he continued to speak calmly:

"Young man, we should be more generous. Judging from your appearance, you should be a gentleman. Why bother with a waiter?"

Fang Lang was really speechless at this point. The way he looked at the white old man was like he was looking at an idiot. This look was not very hurtful, but extremely insulting.

The white old man was not a fool, so how could he not understand the meaning of Fang Lang's eyes? His face suddenly fell and the look he gave Fang Lang became unfriendly.

Without waiting for Fang Lang to speak, he continued:

"Young man, no matter who you are, please understand that this is Britain. If you look at me like this again, I will make you regret it for the rest of your life."

This kind of double standard behavior was a great lesson for Fang Lang.

"I thought this gentleman was so magnanimous, but it turns out he can't even stand a glance. Then what right do you have to advise me to be magnanimous? Is it just because you are shorter than me?"

The white old man was stunned when he heard this. Could it be that only those shorter than him could persuade him? Soon, he realized that this was an insult to him because of his height!

He became extremely furious and raised the civilized staff in his hand, as if he wanted to poke Fang Lang with it.

The driver Jason, who had been standing behind Fang Lang, was always on high alert. After noticing the old man's intention, he rushed out from behind Fang Lang without hesitation, grabbed the other party's walking stick and pulled him to the side.

Before the white old man could react to what was happening, he lost his balance and fell heavily to the ground, which frightened a lady in her thirties who was following him and she screamed.

"Ah!" Fang Lang was so shocked that he unconsciously took out his little finger and scratched his ear.

The people around were obviously shocked by this sudden change and took a step back.

The noble lady turned into a shrew. She bent down to help the white old man who had fallen to the ground while loudly accusing Fang Lang and the others:

"You barbarians, what on earth do you want to do? Get out of Britain, you are not welcome here."

Fang Lang curled his lips when he heard that, not caring about the other party's barking. He didn't even have any interest in appreciating the whiteness that was revealed when the other party bent down.

Just when the people around were about to step forward and join the ranks of accusing Fang Lang, a shrill police whistle was heard in the distance. Obviously, the commotion here attracted the attention of the police.

This was beyond Fang Lang's expectation. He didn't expect that the London police would react so quickly, and there would be people on duty at nightfall. He didn't think for a moment whether this was the result of someone calling the police.

Seeing the police coming, the gentlemen around seemed to have found their backbone. They all made way for the police and showed them the way.

Fang Lang looked through the gaps that everyone had made way for and found that there were actually ten policemen coming over. This shouldn't be the configuration of a patrol team! Fang Lang was just confused for a moment and didn't think about it any more.

Soon, a group of police officers came to Fang Lang through the crowd. After seeing the person lying on the ground and the surrounding situation, the police had a rough judgment in their minds.

The middle-aged police officer who was in the lead and should be the chief of police looked at Fang Lang and Jason with a bad face and said:

"Gentlemen, what is going on? I think it is necessary for you to come to the police station with me to explain."

Fang Lang looked the sheriff up and down with interest, smiled and shook his head:

"I don't have time now. Wait until I finish the show."

These words startled the surrounding policemen. They looked at Fang Lang with a smile on his face in confusion and were unable to react for a moment.

The British gentlemen around were also looking at this arrogant guy in bewilderment, somewhat unable to understand Fang Lang's train of thought.

The leading police officer's expression suddenly turned ugly, and he said to Fang Lang in a serious tone:

"Sir, I think you may have misunderstood something. I am not discussing this with you, but informing you. If you are unwilling to cooperate with me, I may have to take coercive measures against you."

Fang Lang didn't want to continue wasting time here with the other party. After all, the show was about to begin, and Audrey Hepburn might be sad because she couldn't see him!

Just as he was about to ask his men to communicate with the police, the white old man who had just been pulled to the ground by the driver Jason suddenly shouted to the police:

"careful."
