She took out her phone and turned on the flashlight.
The container was empty; there was nothing inside.

This is a trap.
Just then, footsteps sounded behind them.
Fang Lanxin turned around and saw Lu Chen walking over with several people.
"Ms. Fang, it's been a long time," Lu Chen said with a smile.
"Lu Chen, where is Siya?" Fang Lanxin asked coldly.
Lu Chen smiled. “Ms. Fang, your daughter is fine and sleeping at home.”
Fang Lanxin's expression changed. "You're lying to me."

Fang Lanxin took a step back. "Why?"

Lu Chen's face turned ashen.

Those men immediately pulled out knives and rushed towards Ah Kun and his group.
The two sides immediately started fighting.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Fang Lanxin forcefully broke free from the person holding her.
She turned and ran, but slipped and almost fell.
Lu Chen saw it and immediately chased after him.
"Fang Lanxin, you can't escape!"
Fang Lanxin gritted her teeth and continued running forward.
But Lu Chen was faster and quickly caught up with her.
He grabbed Fang Lanxin's arm and pulled her back.

As he spoke, he dragged Fang Lanxin toward the edge of the cliff.

As he spoke, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at Fang Lanxin.
Guan Jingshen's expression changed drastically.
Without a second thought, he lunged at Fang Lanxin, shielding her beneath his body.
Gunshots rang out.
The bullet struck Guan Jingshen in the shoulder.
"Jin Shen!" Fang Lanxin screamed.
Guan Jingshen gritted his teeth and endured the pain.
"I'm fine."
Upon seeing this, Ah Kun immediately raised his gun and fired.
