Qin Yaxuan rolled her eyes: "You seem to have forgotten what I said before. Well then, listen carefully now. Your second sister has already pulled back from the brink, and the infamy you mentioned obviously has nothing to do with me!"
"Oh my! Second sister, you're quite the eloquent one. But you're right, 'notorious' has nothing to do with you now."
Hearing Qin Yaxuan say this, Qin Yaxin glared: "What do you mean I have nothing to do with you now? You brat, explain yourself clearly!"

"I wonder where he learned this smooth-talking skill!"
Qin Yaxin glanced at Qin Yaxuan, and then heard the other woman say, "What do you mean by 'smooth talker'? I was clearly just being sweet-talking and praising you, Second Sister!"
"Alright, I'm in a lot of pain and really need to rest right now. You should go back to your room!"
Turning her head to the other side of the wall, Qin Yaxin decided to ignore Qin Yaxuan.
"Looks like your sister-in-law is serious about you!"
Qin Yaxuan stroked her chin, looking at Qin Yaxin with great interest.
"What are you looking at? Aren't you leaving? Do you need me to escort you out the door?!"
Upon hearing Qin Yaxin's words, Qin Yaxuan clicked her tongue twice and laughed out loud: "Second sister, do you have eyes in the back of your head?"
"Little Liu, you're saying your sister-in-law is serious about me? Do you think she'll let you off the hook if you ever make a mistake?!"
Qin Yaxin turned to Qin Yaxuan and said, "Did you understand? I was really whipped a lot by my sister-in-law. Unless you, Xiao Liu, can sit and never make a mistake again, sooner or later the whip in my hand will strike you hard so that you know where you went wrong and learn your lesson!"

She walked out of Qin Yaxin's room, closed the door behind her, and then went straight to her own bedroom.

The night outside the window was quiet. Qin Yanzheng was sitting on the headboard reading a book when he saw Song Lan get into bed after taking a bath. He casually closed his book and put it on the bedside table, and asked Song Lan with a smile.
"You know that, so why are you asking? Do you think what I told you before was just a joke, or just to scare Second Sister?"
Song Lan's beautiful eyes were full of smiles as she sat down next to the man, leaning against the headboard: "If the child is disobedient, it's fine if you don't discipline him, but once you do, you have to be serious about it, otherwise you won't achieve the desired result."
What was the result?
Qin Yanzheng smiled at Qin Xiao, his eyes filled with tenderness and doting affection.
"Isn't it obvious? Could it be that someone as clever as Comrade Qin Yanzheng has suddenly lost his mind and failed to notice Second Sister's change?"
Avoiding the man's gaze, Song Lan's cheeks flushed slightly. She felt incredibly pathetic; they had been married for several years and had four children together, yet she was still standing in front of him...
When he looked at her intently, especially with that tender, affectionate, and doting gaze, she couldn't help but feel her face heat up and her heart rate accelerate.
"I can tell, I was just teasing you!"
As Qin Yanzheng spoke, a low chuckle escaped his throat.
Upon hearing this, Song Lan raised her beautiful eyebrows: "Do you think I don't know?"
"My wife is much smarter than me, how could she not know I was teasing her?"
Survival instincts kicked in immediately, and Qin Yanzheng reached out and pulled Song Lan into his arms: "Wife, I'm just going along with you, so please don't be angry with me!"

After breaking free from the man's embrace, Song Lan lay down in her own spot, but unexpectedly, Qin Yanzheng also lay down and pulled her into his arms again.
"Okay, time to sleep!"
