Chapter 27 Don't Try to Make Junjun Recognize You as His Grandma

Two plates of dumplings were placed on the table, and Lin Xiaoyu went back to the kitchen to serve the dumpling soup.

There were several houses in the compound, and the sound of children being beaten could be heard, accompanied by adults scolding and children crying.

"I'll give you dumplings. Do I look like a dumpling?"

"If you don't give me dumplings, you don't like me. You're a bad mother."

"Hey you stinky bastard..."

Lin Yongnian walked into Courtyard No. 23 with his hands behind his back. He listened to the sound of children being beaten and pursed his lips and shook his head. The people living in this compound were really not good. So many families were beating their children together at this late hour.

Compared with their No. 18 courtyard, the house looked much more dilapidated. Without him, Li Shuping would not live in such a dilapidated house.

Lin Yongnian stood in the middle of the yard, looking for the room where Li Shuping and Xiao Yu would live. Suddenly, the aroma of shepherd's purse and pork dumplings filled his nose.

He turned his head to look to the side and saw a familiar figure holding a bowl at the door of a lighted house in the corner.

"께玉."

"Dad." Lin Xiaoyu, who was holding the dumpling soup, heard the familiar voice, turned her head, and saw her father.

Before Lin Yongnian left, he looked at the dining table in the narrow room, which was filled with steaming dumplings. His stomach, which had not been full to begin with, became hungry again.

"Your mother made dumplings. It's just right that I'll have two. I haven't eaten your mother's shepherd's purse dumplings in a long time." Lin Yongnian squeezed into the house sideways as if he had entered his own home.

Lin Xiaoyu brought the noodle soup into the room and looked at her father with mixed feelings.

Dad and Mom are divorced, and this is her and Mom's home, but he's eating dumplings like he's at home. Isn't that a little inappropriate?

Besides, when they got divorced, he wouldn't let Mom eat the Lin family's rice.

Lin Yongnian picked up the chopsticks and just picked up a plump white dumpling when he heard a loud shout: "Shut up."

Lin Yongnian was frightened and his hands shook, so the dumplings fell back into the plate.

When he turned around, he saw Li Shuping standing at the door with two plates of vinegar, but he ignored her gloomy face.

Instead, she scolded him with a stern face, just like she would at home, "Why are you so loud? You are not gentle at all as a woman. Hurry up and bring the vinegar over. You should dip dumplings in vinegar."

The usual scolding and domineering attitude made Li Shuping furious.

They're divorced, why does he still treat her like this?

Li Shuping closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She walked into the room, put the vinegar dish on the table, grabbed Lin Yongnian by the back of the neck, and pulled him off the stool.

"What are you doing, crazy old woman?" Lin Yongnian shouted, thinking that she had gone crazy again.

"Get out, we are divorced. This is my home, not your home, Lin Yongnian." Li Shuping said as she pushed Lin Yongnian out of the house.

"you……"

Lin Yongnian was pushed out of the door by Li Shuping. He looked at Li Shuping who was blocking the door with her hands, raised her hands and then put them down, "Li Shuping, are you crazy?"

Li Shuping used her thumb to pick at her ears. She couldn't remember how many times he had asked her this question. "Are you suffering from Alzheimer's? You keep asking me the same question over and over again. You're not tired of asking, but I'm tired of hearing it."

This damn old man had Alzheimer's when he died. He gave her a lot of trouble and even smeared shit on the wall. Fortunately, he had other diseases and died quickly, so he didn't torment her for too long.

"This is my home. You are not welcome here. Get as far away from me as possible." She had seen enough of his face in her past life and didn't want to see it again in this life.

Lin Yongnian was so angry that his old face turned red. "Do you think I want to come to your shabby place?"

Li Shuping sneered, "If you don't want to come, why are you here?"

"I, I came here for Junjun. Junjun is your grandson, and we all have to go to class. The eldest daughter-in-law asked you to help look after Junjun, but you didn't even bother. Are you worthy of being Junjun's grandmother?" Lin Yongnian accused.

Li Shuping: "I am not worthy of being Junjun's grandmother, but you are. You are the perfect match, the perfect match, the perfect match. Quickly quit your job and go home to take care of Junjun. Don't come to my house and act crazy. I have nothing to do with you anymore!"

After she finished speaking, she slammed the door shut.

Lin Yongnian's nose was nearly hit by the door. He took a step back and shouted angrily, "Li Shuping, you are very good. Don't even think about Junjun recognizing you as his grandmother in the future."

Li Shuping pretended not to hear and asked her daughter to sit down and eat dumplings.

She just needs to be rich enough so that her grandchildren will recognize her.

When he was old, his grandchildren loved Lin Yongnian so much, because he had a pension and pocket money to give them.

Two years after she left the class, Lin Yongnian felt that the family's savings should not be so small. He thought that she was wasting money and couldn't manage the money well, so he stopped giving her all his salary.

He gave her food money once a week, and he never gave it to her. She had to ask him for it, and every time she asked, he would say, "Didn't I just give it to you? How come you spent it so quickly? Where did it all go?"

Every time Shoubo asked 껗 for money, she felt particularly humiliated.

Lin Yongnian made a harsh remark and stood at the window for a while. Seeing that Li Shuping was eating dumplings and was not affected at all, he felt like he had punched cotton and walked away in frustration and anger.

Lin Yongnian returned home angrily. Zhang Jiao was washing feet with Junjun. Seeing him come back, she asked, "Dad, what did my mom say?"

"Junjun will no longer have her as his grandmother!" Lin Yongnian said angrily.

Zhang Jiao was shocked. It seemed that he didn't win when he went to complain to his mother-in-law, but instead got mad at her.

"Dad, what did my mom do to you?" Lin Jianshe asked.

Lin Yongnian glared at her angrily, "What can she do to me? I scolded her and said that since she doesn't look at Junjun, Junjun will no longer have her as a grandmother in the future."

"I scolded your mother so badly that she couldn't even lift her head." Lin Yongnian also wanted to save face, so he naturally didn't want his sons and daughters-in-law to know that Li Shuping had chased him away and not allowed him to eat a single bite of dumplings.

The Lin Guodong brothers looked at each other, a little bit unbelieving. If this was true, he wouldn't be so angry.

Lin Yongnian calmed down his anger and looked at his good grandson Junjun. "You should send Junjun to the nursery at the steel plant in the future. The nursery is also very good. Let Li Shuping take care of Junjun. I'm afraid she will suddenly go crazy and beat Junjun." He did not forget to slander Li Shuping.

Zhang Jiao frowned as she looked at her son. She didn't want to send Junjun to a nursery either. In a nursery, one nanny would have to take care of so many children and it would be hard for her to take care of them all. If the nanny wasn't paying attention, it was common for the children to get bumped or bruised.

But the mother-in-law didn't even listen to the father-in-law, and her mother lived far away, so she didn't send her child to the nursery.

It was late at night. Li Shuping finished washing and lay on the bed. She closed her eyes for a while and noticed that her daughter had turned over. She asked, "Yuyu, are you asleep?"

"Not yet, Mom, what's wrong?"

"What do you think of mom's dumplings?" Li Shuping asked.

"My mother's dumplings are the most delicious." She can say with great confidence that no one's dumplings can be as delicious as her mother's.

"Then what do you think, how about Mom setting up a dumpling stall?" Li Shuping asked again. She felt that her dumpling-making skills were pretty good, and no one who had eaten her dumplings had anything bad to say about them.

Since selling food at a stall is quite profitable now, she thought she might as well try setting up a stall selling dumplings first.
