Chapter 147 Headache (Bonus Chapter 1)

Li Chu scratched his head in frustration. What should he do with all this data?

First of all, although he couldn't tell whether the content of these materials was true or false, he figured they should all be true, otherwise why would the system give him a bunch of fake information?

Secondly, the J-8 mentioned in this document is definitely more advanced than the fighter jets currently in service in our country.

Finally, there is no doubt that these materials need to be submitted, but the question is how to submit them.

Just take it and hand it over? That's suicide. You're wrong. You might not die, but you'll definitely lose your freedom. Nobody can protect you then.

What should I do? Li Chu felt so frustrated he wanted to yell.

I suppressed my emotions, forced myself not to think about these things, and started thinking about my wife and my two lovely children. It took a while before I gradually calmed down.

Li Chu clenched his fist. "Fine, I'll just read them all in one go."

His mind then returned to the warehouse, and he began to examine what was inside the boxes below.

The fourth box contained information on airborne air-to-air missile systems and air-to-ground missile systems.

The fifth box was a relatively large one, containing the complete design plan and drawings for the WS-10 turbofan engine. "What's this?" he asked, flipping through the documents. "It's engine data."

The sixth box contained paper documents, including design drawings and all related materials for intercontinental ballistic missiles.

There were six boxes in total, all of them containing deadly weapons.

Submitting all of this data will definitely save the country a lot of research funding and time.

The biggest problem Li Chu is facing now is how to make the deal.

The goal is to protect oneself from being discovered and suspected, while also ensuring that the information reaches the hands of those powerful figures.

Ugh, this is giving me a headache. I'm just a lowly doctor, why is this stupid system torturing me like this?

Li Chu pondered carefully. His only advantage now was that he could carry these things with him at all times and release them as soon as he found a suitable opportunity.

Moreover, such a large item is not easy to move, so it's unlikely that suspicion would easily fall on him.

Even though he's working there now, he can't just leave these things anywhere, right? What if they never reach those big shots?

Therefore, he had to ensure that the big shots would know where he placed it immediately, and that no one with ulterior motives would be allowed to embezzle it.

Let's take our time and figure it out; we can't rush it.

Li Chu casually picked up a book from the table and started flipping through it, deciding not to think about the matter for now. He would take a closer look at where it would be appropriate to put it when he went to his shift in a couple of days.

By lunchtime, he was acting as if nothing had happened. He and Ding Qiunan got their lunchboxes ready and hurried back home.

When they got off work in the afternoon, they bought their food at the cafeteria. They were going to visit the courtyard house after eating, so they decided not to cook and waste time.

Aunt Wang doesn't eat here in the afternoon. Usually, shortly after Li Chu and the others leave, Zhang Meng will drive over and pick her up.

After finishing their meal, the two of them, carrying the child and leading Xiao Hei, walked to the courtyard house.

Ding Qiunan never expected that they would be so popular in the courtyard. After they entered the courtyard, almost every family would come out to greet them and play with the two little babies.

The two children were very cooperative today and didn't cry or make a fuss. Instead, they kept laughing, which made everyone in the yard praise her children.

It takes more than half an hour to get from the front yard to the back yard.

The old lady was sitting in the backyard waiting at her door. When she saw Li Chu and his wife coming over with the child, her wrinkled face deepened with a smile.

Li Chu placed Wen Hui, whom he was holding, on the old lady's lap. Wen Hui was not shy around strangers; she would let either of them hold her as long as her parents were standing nearby.

Wenxuan is different. He cries whenever anyone touches him except for a few very close people. But if you don't hug him, he will smile at you when you try to amuse him.

Xu Damao also helped Lou Xiao'e over. Ding Qiunan saw this and went over to stop her from getting too close, as there were many people around and it would be troublesome if someone accidentally bumped into her.

The old lady was getting on in years, and after sitting outside for a while, she seemed a bit tired. Li Chu carried her daughter over and asked an older woman to help the old lady into the house to rest.

After the old lady went inside, Li Chu held her daughter and sat down in front of Xu Damao's house. Several men in the yard also brought over stools and gathered together to chat.

Ding Qiunan then carried the child and went into Lou Xiao'e's house.

Lou Xiao'e's belly was so big that she couldn't even sit on the small stool outside.

Seeing that Xu Damao kept a close eye on Lou Xiao'e inside the house while chatting with them, Li Chu chuckled to himself.

He didn't know what Xu Damao was like before, but judging from his current state, he was indeed a qualified husband.

"Da Mao, why don't you just put your eyes on your wife?" Li Chu teased him.

Xu Damao said with an embarrassed smile, "Brother Chu, don't laugh at me. It's just that the time is almost here, and I'm worried."

An old man sitting next to him said with a smile, "Ever since his wife got pregnant, Da Mao has become a completely different person. He and Zhu Zi haven't argued for a single day."

“Hey, old man, you can’t keep looking at people with your old eyes. We’re about to become fathers, we need to be mature, we can’t act like little kids anymore.”

Xu Damao's words, whether openly or subtly, were a dig at He Yuzhu, and everyone laughed.

Li Chu noticed that He Yuzhu was about to speak up when he saw someone coming from the Intermediate Court and shut his mouth again. The person who came over was Qin Huairu.

"Dr. Li, is Qiu Nan here too?" Qin Huairu asked as she walked over to Li Chu, who was sitting over there.

"Sister-in-law, Qiu Nan is sitting in Da Mao's house."

"I'll go in and see her." After saying that, Qin Huairu clapped her hands at Wen Hui, who was sitting in Li Chu's lap: "Come on, let your auntie give you a hug. Go inside and find your mother."

Wen Hui looked up at the unfamiliar Qin Huairu, then at her father.

Li Chu smiled and said to her daughter, "Huihui, do you want to go? Let Auntie carry you inside to find your mother."

As she spoke, she handed her daughter to Qin Huairu. Wen Hui didn't cry when Qin Huairu picked her up; she just gestured towards the house, indicating that she wanted to go over, while calling out "Ah ah."

Qin Huairu carried Wen Hui directly into the house.

"Xiao Chu, you're a good child. You don't cry no matter who holds you. Back when Lao Yi's son was around, he wouldn't let anyone hold him except the two of them."

Liu Haizhong now seizes every opportunity to say a few good words about Li Chu.

Li Chu waved his hand with a smile: "It's the same for you, Second Uncle. My son is the same. He won't let anyone hug him except for a few close relatives. He cries if you touch him."
