However, he noticed that Vice Minister Cheng's expression was not very good, and it seemed that after those southerners saw him, their conversation had turned to him.
He felt that there was something strange about this meeting room.
When the meeting started and he saw the situation report that had been issued, he felt even more puzzled.

Li Chu then looked at Vice Minister Cheng, whose expression remained as unpleasant as ever.

Li Chu noticed that the southerners and the people from the pharmaceutical institute were clearly getting restless. The joy on their faces had completely disappeared, replaced by panic.

Vice Minister Cheng waved the paper in his hand and pointed to Director Sun standing in front of him.
Director Sun turned around, saluted everyone, and said, "I won't introduce myself. You'll know when we start working together. Now I'll call out a few names. Those of you I call out, please stay. The rest of you can leave now. If you need anything, we'll come back to your office to find you."
After saying that, Director Sun took out a piece of paper from his bag, opened it, and read out a few names.
Li Chu realized that these names seemed to belong to those southerners and people from the Institute of Pharmacy.
After the reading was finished, those who hadn't been called on stood up and walked out of the meeting room one after another, including Vice Minister Cheng.
Li Chu also stood up, casually tossing the report he had just issued onto the table.
Director Sun saw him then, walked over with a grin, and put his hand on Li Chu's shoulder.
"Brother Li, you're not being fair. Such a big thing, and you didn't even come to us. We had to be notified by the leaders."
"I thought it wasn't a big deal, so I didn't notify you. I didn't expect it to turn out like this." Li Chu smiled bitterly and pointed to the report on the table.
